Please build a door at the entrance to your trap corridor. Leave it open most of the time so enemies come in to the traps like you want. When you get manhunting packs, close it so they don't waste your traps, and send someone to repair the door for a little bit until the animals give up and leave it alone. Simple and effective, and prevents a lot of minor injuries. Pete Complete uses this tactic to great effect, often paired with peak-a-boo-ing to slowly kill off the pack.

My problem when making expansions to say my freezer is that I always under estimate just how many coolers I need. Their are some tips you can follow to make your freezer very efficient. Double walling will prevent temperature bleed, so will double dooring. What I do is make a central room inside my freezer with an open roof that all coolers will vent into. This does 2 things, it gets rid of all the excess heat, and prevents the rest of your base from getting too hot. It also prevents you from having to put the freezer against an outer wall which can be problematic against sappers. Also consider putting a small freezer next to your infirmary so you can store organs and medicine their for quick use. Finally and what I enjoy doing is enclosing large portions of my base around the thermal vents as they generate a massive amount of heat and can produce a natural source of heat and heavily cut down on the need for heaters. Simply wall it with vents on each side, one to the outside one to inside your base and open/close the vents as needed for the warmer or colder months.

On your next ideology run, make sure to use the rituals that have a chance for a same ideology recruit, I don’t believe they ever betray and they’re usually op, I try to have atleast 2 rituals with it

They have recreation items, but they don't have recreation time scheduled. Also, you can split their recreation time so that colonists who dislike each other would not spend their chill out time together. Like, half of the population rests in the morning, the other in the evening. And you know you can stagger their schedule in general.

My favorite strategy for infestations is to build wooden floors down every hallway with steel doors periodically, then when the infestation gets pretty big, burn the floors. Eventually, even if the bugs don't burn, it gets so hot in the passageways that they die en masse.

The undergrounder can set up that cavern space to be shroom gravel, along with the spawn tunnel, with some parts being cultivated into food tiles and the rest to sort itself out however RNGesus decides. The shrooms that can spawn are useful. You get fallout-free food and other resources along with the mood buff.

In my current world I had 6 female muffalos. I didn't take any males because I didn't want them to multiply, but then I had a quest to take care of a pare of muffalos and that one muffalo bull impregnated ALL of them and some of them even a second time until the quest was over. Might want to consider enslaving troublesome pawns, especially ones you can't keep happy. Still get to keep them around for labor until you find a suitable replacement but they have much lower expectations.

A bit late, but never smooth floors. It is colony wealth that can never be removed and stays even if you add a floor. With regards to you breaking colonists, Dan seemed to have low rec. You may want to run a biphasic schedule of 6 work 3 rec, 3 sleep 6 work 3 rec, 3 sleep. The don't lose rec while sleeping and pretty much keeps them topped up on rec all the time, and consequently gives them the fully rec buff The only issue with this is that they have to travel back and forth to their bed twice a day. You also may want to add a two door exit (and keep the back door open) to the right of the kill box. Your colonists seem to spend a while traversing the kill box when they are required to leave the compound.
