Your curls are looking amazing, but I don't know if the "shine" is really that much different from the other Curlsmith products. Or the Rizos Curls!! That shine is gold!!

I love that curlsmith has a fragrance free line. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE all the curlsmith scents, but my mom is very sensitive to fragrance and heavy scents, and I love sharing my fav products with her. Im so glad I can share curlsmith now too!

The line isn't truly fragrance free though. Really had my hopes set on this line but looks like I can't use this one either without having eczeme flair ups, eye problems and so on.

We love your postpartum hair! It might be annoying to you, but it shows authenticity every time you talk about it and address it. Just look at Jalen in those moments recognize… yeah… it’s worth it! Keep it up!

You nailed it for me when you said it smelled like nothing. I am on Curlsmith email list so I am aware of the fragrance free line, but I was hesitant to purchase because of it having jasmine extract and lemon peel extract. (I am highly sensitive to fragrances.) Now I will purchase it either directly from them or use your link, either way I will get 10% off. I look forward to your videos even though I have type 4 hair, love your personality.

Interestingly enough the fact that she has fine hair and I have extremely thick +high density hair impacts results more than the fact that her hair is type 3 and I’m a type 4

How did it work out for you? I'm not buying it because I have te same problem with any fragrance or fragrance like ingredient. So I'm curious to know what your experience is with the product.

Today is wash day, so my first time trying this line since it launched...I am in LOVE! I've always had sensitive skin, but I loved look I got with the Curlsmith orange line, so I've been toughing out some minor scalp irritation. With this new line, I have all the definition and frizz control, with none of the itch!

I just bought the travel sizes to try because I already have Curlsmith's entire line, thanks to your recommendations. My favorite is their Detox line. My hair is clean, shiny, and holds my 3C curls for days. The moisture line is nice, but a believe a little too heavy. I have the color enhancer Vivid Tones, which shows off my silver mix. I was excited to try the new line as soon as I heard. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my hair texture after I shampooed and conditioned. My hair felt rough and was hard to detangle, even in the shower. I applied the leave-in conditioner and gel as directed and I finger coil my hair and diffused. My hair had definition for one day and the next day, was frizzy and feeling very dry. I sprayed the Curlsmith refresher on and manipulated my coils (I always separate them) and let them air dry. My hair still looked dull. Today, I refreshed my entire head and am waiting for it to dry. I will not purchase this line again. Sorry, it was a no-go for me.

Another great part to a fragrance free line is I love their purple line but sometimes don’t need all of that protein. Great to start with this shine shampoo and conditioner and then style with aqua jelly. Can’t wait to try it!!

Omg i’ve been dying to see this review! I agree with some of the other comments I think that Rizos curls give me the ultimate shine ✨ Side note for her OG followers does anybody else feel like her curls have gotten a lot looser and less “spiral ish”?? I feel like she used to have perfect Ringlets!! I wonder if this is what happens as our hair gets longer?? I would love to know if anybody can educate me on this!

Hello, yeah there are many things that could have affected her ringlets, for one part postpartum can loosen the hair texture and the added length weights down the hair so it loose up the curls

@@labratzy21 wow thank you so much for the reply I knew I wasn’t crazy! I was watching old videos from when her hair was about war length and she had perfect spiral ringlets! I’m about 3 months post Partum myself so I wonder if there’s a way to combat these changes? Thanks for the help!

I agree length is deff a factor it happens to me as well however putting your hair in a bun all the time causes mechanical damage aka stretching the curls and making them look more elongate overtime. I’m sure we are all guilty of lounging around in a bun during these quarantine days but we won’t really know for her specific, just a thought 💭

@@jasmined4973 yeah agreed & no I don’t think so unless maybe the hair is 100 virgin maybe? I think the length is major key because it’s not the same it tangles more as the hair gets longer so the same curl pattern is not maintained … although my hair is about bra/shoulder length and for the most part it does keep the same patter but when I had it longer my patter was deff more Ali hated due to the weight of it

Well, we still don't. They use lemon peel extract and jasmine flower extract. And after that I stopped looking because it's enough for me to not be able to use these products.

@@TheClairelikescats I'll take a look at SEEN. Haven't heard of that brand yet. I tried JessiCurl but got an allergic reaction with the "no fragrance added" line they produce. After emailing them they told me they use a "green tea extract" in that line. And that tea extract contains, citral, eugenol, geraniol, citronellol and a couple more ingredients that many people with fragrance allergies react to. When I emailed them they told me they regretted that I had a reaction and that they were considering to make a truly fragrance free line. But that they were not making one yet. That's why it's called "no fragrance ADDED". There are fragrances in it. But they don't primarily use it to give it a smell. But they use it for other benefits the ingredients are believed to have. So that's how they "get away with it" so to say.

Thanks for giving your opinion about the leave-in vs. the weightless air dry leave-in! I have the blue and purple lines and some of the orange and am wondering how these products compare to those lines. There is no reason for me to run out and grab the shine line until I am finished with what have of these are similar with the other products performance wise - I love CurlSmith scents so they are not a problem, more of a bonus! 🤩

Excited to try this. I have nummular eczema all over me. My hair is extremely breakage prone/brittle split ends just a curly freaking mess. every time I use products that help my dry hair it irritates me dry skin 😞 hopefully this doesn't. Thank you for this ❤

I do love the Curlsmith scents, but also, they build up really quickly, especially if you use multiple products from the same line, ya know what I mean? I’m excited to try this. Think I’ll get the trial sizes as my birthday present to myself.

Do you mean the scent builds up or the actual product?! I think I know what you mean! I’ve been using Curlsmith exclusively and I do get a sticky feeling if I use too many of them at the same time

Hi bianca, I never tried curlsmith product but I just order mine just now and I can wait to try it. I prefer gentler cleanser because does'nt strip my hair to much in one wash so I can go in and do a second shampoo if my hair its super dirty. If the shampoo does'nt sud up the first wash it because your hair is more dirty than usual. My hairdresser recommand to do a second wash to make sure that all the dirt is out so you can start fresh for a nother week and you less prone to builtup. The second wash will sud up more because your hair is a little bit more clean than before. Just to let you know that advice that I got from a profesionnal hairdresser specialise on curly hair. I love watching your video keep doing a good work.

Looks good. But I prefer the fragrance in my hair products. When I refresh I like having that light smell in my hair throughout the day. So I think I would really miss the fragrance.

Ur hair looks amazing!!! I love curlsmith products because of their ingredients but also because of their scent! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how every line smells like. So at the moment I might hold of on this shine line just because of that. (Of course it has nothing to do that I have soooooooo many curlsmith products I just don’t know what to do with myself 😳🤪🤣😂 )

I have tried some Curlsmith products. Overall, the leave in conditioners are great for my hair. But the gels never work for me. I need a stronger hold like Xtreme.

Such a shame these products contain sensitizing essential oils, I was so excited to see something fragrance free! I have really bad allergies and get folliculitis any time I use a product with essential oils for too long. Any product recs are appreciated!! Right now I use Kristen Ess but would love to diversify

I thought extracts are not the same as essential oil? Most clean fragrance free have extracts with no smell or very very light.

@@Sunshineblazefire unfortunately I’m very sensitive to fruit I have an extreme fruit allergy so all the citrus extracts make my scalp super angry even if it’s not a pure essential oil just extract
