Who in their right mind would buy a 900 gold custom border per card when a new card variant in the store is like 700 / 800 for the bonus. Yeah, whales definitely.

Fr it’s ridiculously greedy by SD but I got torn to shreds on Reddit for saying I’m concerned about the money hungry moves they’ve been making, I’ve been defending the albums, emotes, avatars and variants but my god it’s getting ridiculous

@@BetarayBillLoverIt's not just snap. It's literally every mobile game. That's what they charge. They got to make money. I saw a video about like a game getting shut down even after making millions of dollars because like their publishers want more returns. That's why I'd rather like the game. Not even be free to play. I'd rather just pay a monthly fee like Netflix or something then I have to pay so much money for everything.

Kinda off topic but I had an idea I would like to see come to the game, I would like to see a Sandbox mode where you can revert any cars to any past versions of that card and choose what locations can randomly appear or even pick 3 specific locations if you want. And you can play with a friend or CPU. It would be cool if you can have more control for testing different interactions and stuff.

not sure if they’d wanna put in the effort to include all past iterations of cards but it would be interesting to be able to manipulate locations/select or randomize the order you draw your cards in to try those different possible interactions

NOOOO I was looking forward to that shadowing variant I love the game and still play a lot but I gotta say i definitely am ready for that next big feature that isn’t just a whale line, personally I’m really looking forward to character mastery

These borders were something I was hoping would replace titles or other bullshit from collectors reserves. Of course they chose to monetize it.

I don't even play conquest. It gives me anxiety and it takes too long. Even though I'm missing out on the gold . It's just not enjoyable. Like if you get matched into a rock-paper-scissors game, you automatically lose just because you're not running the right deck and their deck completely counters Yours. If it was just ladder it's just one game so you don't have to worry about it. You just leave. I wish they would just move the conquest rewards to ladder

This patch was a huge L the drip feed pace is painfully slow and makes it easy to lose interest. Card borders feel greedy. They should have dropped the ability to unlock these borders first, then the ability to purchase. Feels a little sleazy as is. The ability to switch backgrounds is awesome, I won’t lie. But the fact it’s locked per split ( gold Kirby crackle attached to prism) so you might have to unlock it 120 times to get gold on gold just seems excessive. I know SD talked about rarity and exclusivity but the amount of work you have to put in to get what you want is more than enough as is.

Every month this game loses my interest even more, eventually it’ll lose all my interest. I couldn’t care less about these cosmetic features.

Are those new boarders only to buy as in you can't get them for free on a upgrade? If so that's awful. When they first talked about new boarders and styles coming the point was to be new life to upgrading not just some thing to buy. The game is going to feel pretty bad fast if the whole point of snapping cards become pointless this was the thing I feared when they announced you can just switch to any boarder or style but then it was limited to a single variant, and you still had to get there so it was okay. But now? It can be applied to any variant? and your also you are telling me there will be no more new cool boarders to try get. A prime example is right now I have no reason to ever snap Iron man again or Death or Carnage etc for many. Besides the obvious progression there is no actual motive. Imagine making snapping the cards just a mundane thing for progression? Than hoping to hit that Gold or Kirby? In fact I was happy when I got a new variant even if I didn't like it because getting it to gold was cool but now I can do it right away shrugs. Just saying at the start, they were praising that each collection would be unique to cards and variants and their snaps but now we can easily streamline our variants to all the same. Not so unique. To make them free just make a super rare chance of getting one of those boarders on the basic boarder after a snap then you have to keep for your custom card forever.
