And these are the older formula. They have just released a new formula for these but most of the shades are the same as these and the formulas are not that different.

Those Dior eyeshadows are SO gorgeous & make me so tempted to pick-up a few of the singles. Have already been tempted by the quints but “held off.” Now think I’ll be springing for BOTH the singles (2-3 of them) & a couple of the quints!!👍 The Pearl Star is lovely & Black Bow looks truly amazing on you! So many beautiful shadows...REALLY hard to choose.😊

Hi Lexi! Thanks so much for filming this video! I am a Dior formula lover but when these monos came out I assumed that the shades would be the same if not very similar as they used the same name we have in the quints! Awesome content! ❤️😘

I swatched Front Row in there kind of after the other swatches and I really don't see anything similar in the new Monos. In my opinion, nothing is even vaguely similar but I really hope they add a shade like it.

Hi Lexi! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this video! I ordered Cashmere (because it looked lighter than Nude Dress and I wanted contrast with Poncho) for the lid shade, Poncho to deepen the crease and line my lids, and Beige Mitzah for the 2/3 of the outer lid. For the Inner lid (not inner corner) would you get Tulle (not sure because it is Satin and pretty warm) or Tutu (because it is metallic, but not sure about the warmness of it; I have pink undertones and prefer cool tones on me, but I can do warms) or Rose Montaigne (but I know it is also a satin)?

Those are all great options! I think Tutu with Beige Mitzah will be best because of the metallic finish but I love both Tulle and Rose Montaigne also. RM is cooler in tone but also more sheer so another option would be to do the whole lid in Beige Mitzah and then go over BM with RM for the inner portion to just get a slight change. Thank you for investing in all these monos. Love your eye look. On my screen, most of the shades apply and look as expected - thank you for identifying dupes from “old collection” and the few duds among the new collection. I was most disappointed when you applied Poncho on your lids - there is no luminosity emanating form it. Thank you so much for the swatches and the application. Gris Dior reminds me of the silver shade in the Chantecaille Polar Ice palette - how close are the two shades?

Thank you Jocelyne! I don’t have Polar Ice unfortunately. From swatches I have seen online, the Chantecaille silver looks like more of a true silver and less blue than the Dior. The Dior looks a little cooler in tone from what I can tell online but they are probably fairly similar.

Hi Lexi. I have Sisley Silky Steel and that other light blue Sisley shade you told me about for an accent shade. Do you think that the Gris Dior Mono shadow is different enough to warrant purchasing that one as well?

Mixing the two Sisley shades is probably close enough imo but gris dior is beautiful if you have room for another. You don't need it though.

Whew! Huge selection sampled - thanks! It shows you can’t really tell much from an eye palette pan...you have to swatch on your own skin. Try Front Door. It’s also a nice one and done. I don’t like the quints in general. I’m sure I’m in the minority on that. Thanks again ! 😎

Lexi, your poor eyelids! Really appreciate what you went through to achieve these swatches, thank you so much 🥰 I’m quite sure that a number of these singles are repeats. I have 573 & 530 (as well as beige Mitzah) from the originals and they’re the same just under a different name. Also I’m quite sure they did the same glitter shadows in LE as well.

Do you know how Nude Dress compares in colour to Mineral in the old formula? Interestingly Nude Dress is not one of the same shades in the Nude Dress quint! I'm debating if I need Mineral and the Nude Dress mono if they are the same? xx

I am sorry but I don't have mineral. From online swatches, Mineral looks a little warmer (more golden hued) than Nude Dress but they look close. It is hard to tell without a direct comparison but it is probably the closest match in the new shades.

I'm going to have to track down a Mineral to swatch with my Nude Dress - but if the Cosmopolite / Beige Mitzah comparisons are anything to go by I'm sure there will be a striking resemblance (I hope..so I don't have to buy Mineral too!).
