NEW DISCOVERY! Finding and CUTTING Incredible Alligator Agates from a Florida Swamp on a Rock Saw!

What an unexpected discovery! We went to explore a brand new location and found a source of legitimate Florida agate! These appear to be forming inside hollow cavities within limestone and are quite different from the agatized coral that is so famous from Florida! There are even tiny invertebrate fossils still visible under the botryoidal mineral formations; a first for us!
I can't wait to get back out to this location and find many more of these to cut open! Let me know in the comments below if you enjoyed this one and if you'd like to see more from here.

Thank you! 😊 There are definitely fossils in Sweden! There are a lot of older fossils there within the Cambrian and Ordovician period, often found on beaches. Have seen all the episodes of Bree and you as best I can. And from your friends. The adventure, the trips through the swamp and jungle, your endless humorous character, the weather, fears, discoveries, science, past, your surprise at new finds is so incredibly infectious that I am jealous of never being able to do this. You don't find this kind of thing in the Netherlands and if it was there, I would also be in a swamp somewhere. But history and research into our past is my guiding principle in life. With your age, I would certainly have wanted to do this. Whatever you do in the series, anything that can tell us more about our earth and what fossils can make our imagination run wild, is the incentive to keep you going and spoil us with new discoveries and adventures. And as a macro nature photographer my compliments for capturing nature on photo and film. And Bree, how fanatical you are, great that you can share this with Cris, wonderful to see....Thank you for this.

Thank you for such a nice message! We’re very grateful to be able to follow our passions in life and share them with you. 💖 You may be able to find fossils in the Netherlands! A quick search online for fossils found there could lead to some good ideas on where to plan a trip to explore for fossils! Here is a forum example talking about possible locations and what you may find there! There are many other examples online if you search around enough, as well. I hope this helps, I would love for you to be able to adventure and discover and learn just like we do! 😊 www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/121545-fossils-hunting-in-the-netherlands/
@WilEngelen

@@PaleoBri Thank you so much for your comment. I don't think the mentioned stretch of beach will yield the similar finds as in your series. Most of the Netherlands used to be sea, so in principle fossils could be found everywhere the sea once stood. Although you have to go a little deeper into the ground. The Netherlands is a small country with many inhabitants. Although I do find other things in the ground, which would excite Wildkyle quite a bit. Such as Roman finds and remains from the Iron Age. In Germany I did make some fossil finds when I was a bit younger. I was wondering if you could also do something on KZfaq with your processing of the found bones of animals. Seems like an interesting topic to me. Thanks again Bree and greetings to Cris and Wildkyle.

I really love and appreciate your videos! They are so encompassing, with all of the geology, biology, herpetology biology, and crazyology. Never a dull moment! Of all of the folks that I follow on Utube (200?) I would say that you two make it into about the top six or seven of who I would want to treat to a dinner in exchange for some conversation. I live in southern Missouri, I am 71 y.o., and I have had as many experiences as you have perhaps and the offer stands if you get my way again. We could do some "crazy things" like kayaking the Yellowstone River or scuba dive off of the North Shore of the U. P. or I know a good place for agates in the grasslands of Nebraska. Anyway, if you ever get bored just let me know and I'll see what I can do.🤔
