Great video! Could you pass me the name of whatever it is you are smoking when out on these trips? 🤣 It would be cool if you also showed some polishing and such in some videos, explaining the process, et cetera.

In case no one told you, the caterpillar is called a saddleback and it says "don't touch me unless you want a nasty, pusy wound." Those hairs contain venom. One got my husband once (in Florida).

Hey, I'm a new subscriber. I recently came across 'Michigan Rocks, ' which led me to 'WILDKYLE,' which in turn led me to you guys (and yesterday, I also found 'HoppeHunting' via you). I am really enjoying the content on all of your channels and hope you will upload more exciting trips! I enjoy watching both the rock/fossil hunting and the foraging trips, and I hope to see more of all of it in the future.

I enjoy the commentary portions moreso than all the finds as crazy as that may sound. You Sir are a dearth of overall knowledge.

I was wondering if you would come across sundews! I live in Prince Edward Island, Canada and at the bog where I find pitcher plants and lady slipper orchids, I also find sundews. Our pitcher plants are shorter and wider than the ones you showed and have burgundy coloured flowers. The sundews here are tiny, 1-1.5 cm, and I walked by them for years before even noticing them. We have sooo many wild blueberries too due to the sandy soil surrounding this bog. Of course they too are a different type than the ones you picked, but they too pack a huge flavour punch compared to the large "tame" highbush ones.

I really dig your circular-saw technique; I certainly know my way around a workshop but it never occurred to me to do it that way - I reckon it's safer & gives you a lot more control. Very well done, guys! ;~ ]

Clean with dish soap and toothbrush, rinse, let sit in dish soap and water for up to 2 days to get the grease stains off or until grease stains come off, rinse, let sit in hydrogen peroxide completely covered for at least a day to whiten you can let it sit for longer if you aren't satisfied, then let sunbleach for at leash a day. DO NOT USE BLEACH! IT WILL DISTROY YOUR BONES

Those strange fossil looking geodes are "geodized fossils", from Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Also western Illinois. Crinoid heads and stems that form the nucleus of a quartz growth, then the organic material rots away and crystals form in the interior. But they look just like giant crinoid pieces.
