Looking forward to seeing it at Costco with a Costco price. EcoFlow at Costco pricing comes in at around $500/kWh.

Good revue and agreed DJI make quality products, and having propriety output cables was well thought out to add protection for the power station, and the 12v lighter type plugs with there inherent poor accessory fit are known to be heat generators so a good choice to omit this was a good idea.

It's almost twice the price of the Anker Solix C1000 and you have to buy extra cords to do things that should be built in.

Excellent review. Thank you. I would be interested in more tech info on the SDC port as you get the adapters. I wonder what a capacity test off the SDC port would be when running something like a frig. It would be interesting to have an SDC adapter that converted to an XT60 or 5521 port for 12v stuff since cig outlets generally suck. If you have DJI drones, that SDC port could be a game changer. A lot of us that camp also have drones so being able to run 12v stuff in the car/van/truck along with the enhanced drone charging is a big deal. I think you need to do a video on the SDC stuff and maybe even "build" a homemade SDC/XT60/5521 cable for testing. The shape/form factor of the 1000 is excellent at 17.6x8.8x9in. The handles and square shape make it perfect for putting into a car/van/truck and packing stuff around it.

I enjoy your videos and even enjoyed your review of products meant for select markets. However I think the largest markets are the DIY and general use, the latter being home backup, recreation, or worksite. I didn't click any of your buttons, because I'm not in this proprietary market.

Yeah, I'd go for the Bluetti offerings for roughly the same price with everything built in. The only thing interesting about the Power 1000 is dual 140W PD3.1 USB-C ports, which I've only seen on a UGREEN power station. There is no reason for the MPPT to be external and not have built in XT60 connectors.

Too bad the pricing for these is horrendous in Europe. 550e for the power 500 and 1050e for the Power 1000, that's without any accessories.

For another 50 bucks I could buy the pecron E1500. That has 1500 w's of storage with a 2200 w inverter and I don't have to buy charge controllers and is expandable. Please don't use jackery as a baseline they are a con artist company. My gosh this company charges 300 dollars for a 100 watt panel. They might be good for drones but they are a ripoff for solar!

@@billywray4524 I did not realize that about ecoflow's customer service. Good to know. In fairness to them them they really do lead the industry with practical innovations. I have never had any of their products so I do not know about their customer service. I have several pecron products and any issues were resolved swiftly. That's why I keep buying from them.

DJI is a China-based company that is facing a potential ban in the US on its drones, similar to what just happened to TikTok. I don't know if such a ban would pass Congress, but at the very least potential buyers ought to be aware of this situation and take it into account when considering this unit. Of course, drones and power stations are two different technologies, so nothing may come of this at all. Just a small head's up.

For that kind of money' shouldn't have to buy accessories that are standard on even the cheapest battery bank....and No one is buying these without solar so this is doesn't make sense at all

I understand the sentiment, but I have to disagree with you. A lot of people don't use solar with power stations. I'd venture that nearly half don't. And as far a pricing goes, I can say with absolute confidence that when compared to anything else with this level of build quality (and that would be a very small group), these are priced surprisingly reasonably. So I stand by my conclusions in the video, though you're certainly welcome to disagree.

No problem,I wasn't in disagreement with you,I rather enjoy for videos and go back to watch old ones as well...I just don't like the idea of spending more money on things that are pretty much standard on every other machine...wireless charger is not important in my mind but I use my sometimes' but the other stuff...should be included.....granted it is clearly designed for drone users...but then you limit your narket base..as as we all know...money really dictates what can and Can not be!!! Please keep up the good work, I really' really enjoy your videos...all the way from the Bahamas!!!

@242guile I should probably add that I would definitely have to conceed that a 12V socket adapter should be included as standard since that's something that is really essential equipment on a power station. That was a miss on my part!

I completely disagree with all of your comment. Not everyone wants or needs solar. Often people use these are portable backups for a short period such as tailgating which the power of both of these will last hours. Also, the accessories are not expensive AND you don't pay for something you don't want/need. Your comment is of someone wanting things for nothing or very cheap.

There are full communities that do nothing but outdoor camping using only solar and battery banks. Now if you talking the FPV world then you MIGHT be right.

This is waaaaay too much money for field charging. Jackery 240 explorer and a 60w solar panel is all most will ever need,unless you spend ALL day droning then maybe 1000w battery.
