Ran a test on our upright freezer. Test lasted 15 hours, stopped it short because I went to bed. When the freezer cycled on it was using approx. 115 watts. Since I didn't have a shunt or a smart battery I used a Govee Smart Plug Pro to track accumulated KWH. This model freezer used 861 watts total in the 15 hour period when I stopped the test. It could have lasted longer. I am only using this Licitti power station when the grid is down, and at night so I don't need to run the gas generator. Charged it with a 30 amp charger and its slow. I have the first model, and the newer box. With the Govee Smart Plug I was able to see the status of the unit while traveling that afternoon. Works for me.

This is a fun technology :) note: Now, If I can install a small seat with a seat belt and a fake steering wheel...... and teach "Ramblin Bobcat" to sit on top of this little fella in that seat and stay still while the robot cuts the lawn. P.S. The neighbors would really be impressed !!!!! P.P.S. LOL

Not a gimmick for sure. I have mine managing close to 8000m2 during winter here in New Zealand where my Kubota ride on can no longer be used due to the ground getting too soft. We have kikuyu grass and in the past I have had to leave it to grow out of control until the ground dries in summer, but by then, the kikuyu has grown to 8” which then becomes a major task to get back down to 1”. It normally takes me the whole of summer to do this due to excessive clippings. My Luba 1 is now keeping the entire property down to around 1.5” even when the ground has standing water!!. I do adjust the zone boundaries to avoid really wet and permanently muddy areas. Highly recommend this machine for large Kikuyu lawns.

Hi! Can you please tell if it is noisy while working? From your review it seems to make quite some noise...
@ReeWrayOutdoorsКүн бұрын
Guess I completely missed showing that! :P I wouldn't say it's 'whisper quiet', but it outputs about 54dB or so when the fans are running full-out. From my perspective, it's fairly non-instrusive white-noise and not something that would bother me, as long as it wasn't constantly cycling on and off for some reason.
@catzilla8104Күн бұрын
@@ReeWrayOutdoors thank you for your quick reply! Could you please specify if the fans are turning on in low load situations, such as using PC with the monitor for instance (~250 watts in total)? If they do, do they make less noise than 54dB? I’ve also read that the inverter on this model consumes up to 100 watts, making it less efficient in low load situations. Did you notice anything like that?

Great review. I have been following this device. I bought a new electric riding mower 3 years ago, so the missus likes to tell me I already bought a new toy. I did show her the part of the video with the straight lines - she was impressed. Maybe in a year or two... Other reasons I have not pulled the trigger. I live in northern KY. My backyard is a hill - great for sled riding in the winter, but not much else. There are also some other smaller hills on the side. Based on videos I have watched, I think it could tackle it - but would have to try it out. Second reason - I live near a lot of rednecks that like big trucks and loud engines. I'd be concerned about vandalism with this device. If they made a diesel version that was loud and smoky, I'd be fine - but a battery/electric device that is quiet? Watch out. (Wish I was joking)

is the larger area mower just a software limitation? if so, really dirty. if its the exact same mower and they are just limiting you with the software...
@charleswheatcroftКүн бұрын
The smallest version has a smaller battery. There is speculation that there is more memory on the middle and largest versions but it is more likely to be a software limitation as you suspect. I'm not sure how I feel about software limitation. If it were an app, you can have free/basic/premium versions at different price points with a code to unlock more features so it's not dissimilar. Also, the warranty claims would probably be higher for the versions that are subject to a higher workload so there is some logic. It's a fairly new company and the customer service reports have been pretty patchy - by all accounts they are slow to respond due to rapid growth. Hopefully this will change.
@conradcoolerfiendКүн бұрын
@@charleswheatcroftthe big difference to me is that with an app for example, software is the whole product. With this thing, the majority of what your buying is the hardware. I wouldn’t cry about it if the bigger one was a nominal up charge, maybe $200, and you can upgrade after purchase. But they want thousands. you know this pricing is BS! I wouldnt buy from this company based on that alone. Ill wait for the tech and competition and pricing to get better, maybe software cracking etc.
@charleswheatcroftКүн бұрын
@@conradcoolerfiend The upgrade path makes sense. The company does listen to it's customers but the software is 2 steps forward one step back at the moment. The progress is positive though.

Now that this technology is beginning to grow stronger legs, I'm beginning to look into it more seriously. However, I'm not finding much help and info to assist me in deciding if it can help me as yet. I wish to stop using petroleum-powered generators as I hate those fumes when doing things publicly (or at all). But I'm not used to considering W with Wh, and unsure what would, if at all, drive my current portable P.A. system for any decent length of time so it isn't a constant concern while performing. The P.A. system uses approx 750 to 800W, and, of course, any power source, also has to drive a laptop, mixer, and various synths or drum machines and fx (all of which added to the P.A. system, are unlikely to push the needed wattage much above 1000W). It would be great to be able to run this setup for at least 8hours, with 12 to 20 hours being more ideal, even if I never need to run it for so long at a time. Anyone who could advise?
@ReeWrayOutdoors4 күн бұрын
First thing I would advise is to actually run your setup through a watt meter (or 2 ) to get an accurate read on both the peak watt draw and the total Watt-Hours your system consumes over a given time-frame and then you'll have a much more realistic picture of how much capacity you really need.
@AllenCaraway4 күн бұрын
I've had one of the these and find that when it's charging (currently only via a cigarette lighter), the amount of watts coming in reduces the higher the load. For example, if a my appliances are drawing 111 watts, as they are now, I'm only getting 13 watts in via the lighter socket. I've contacted Vtoman who have requested photos. I'm now waiting for a reply.
