THANK YOU FOR THIS REVIEW. I really wanted this skin tint. A lot of influencers are posting their links to buy it but no reviews so far. I find that to be HIGHLY annoying. Why push us to buy something if you’re not going to review it? So I appreciate this A LOT!!

YAY! YAY! I am so especially excited to see the Dolce & Gabbana Nutri Tint💃🏿 May I just say that am ECSTATIC at how deep it goes!! A luxury brand acknowledging and catering to a deep skin tone makes my heart soar. Yippee they have a shade I can use 💕 I was immediately drawn to the Guerlain quad because of the white shade!! I love when you added it on top! You could even wear it alone. The Hourglass powder has to deepen the powder shades! 🥲 You looked so pretty!! The D&G skin tint was gorgeous on you and the eye shadow was so beautiful!! I am impressed that the iridescent shade lasted! Some tend to fade away bur this one didn’t go anywhere💃🏿 Great video! Thank you as always for all your hard work. It is appreciated and loved❤

I wore the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint yesterday as a primer for her foundation and it wore beautifully. It is a pricey primer for me. . . Not enough coverage for me, so I’ll be passing on the D & G. I picked up the Hourglass powder at the Sephora sale and it arrives today - that made a HUGE difference on your face. It definitely helped the skin tint. Guerlain doesn’t have my favorite eye shadow formula, so I’ll be passing on this one too! Great video, as always!

Rebecca this tint looks so much better on your skin than the LE. I was feeling like the only person on the planet who is disappointed by Lisa’s tint there are so many positive reviews out there. My issue with it is that it doesn’t really improve the appearance of my skin. I have very many of the usual skin issues but my skin literally looks better by itself than with the tint. I’m still trying it out but have just about given up but I love the shade which is really a true olive which I’ve never found before. This one really looks great on you. No offense but not so sure about the eyeshadows. Normally you look so beautiful with the shadows you use you have the best eyes for it and you’re very lucky to have them!

Hi Rebecca! I thoroughly enjoyed this review as I was interested in all three products. I now know I can skip on the Guerlain eyeshadow but I really want to try both the skin tint and pressed powder (may need to order before Sephora sale ends). I am in Orange County and I know we shouldn’t complain about the weather but I will complain that we seem to get the nice weather on weekdays lately and the rain only on weekends! 🤷🏻‍♀️🙃

I looked real quick at the tital and saw blueberry an was like huh is Rebecca calling Burberry Blueberry lol Ooo that tint looks pretty, im like the queen of skintints its all i wear so of course i want this too. That blue shade reminds me of the shade in the Chanel Byzance cristal quad. I love that shade. I didn't pick up the Guerlain quad because the orangy colors threw me off but it looks pretty all together not as warm looking on the eyes and i think that shimmer cooled it off especially with the purple color in the corner . Looks beautiful on you .

Hi there! Looks great! I have just gone crazy w/this sale shame on me! I did try the Hourglass skin tint and w/return it, I just like fuller coverage. I ended up buying the Urban Decay and love it. I have told myself I need to use up all of the 14 foundations I currently have before I purchase any more!!!! NO MORE! Though I did use your link to try to get that powder (can never have too much) and all the lighter shades are sold out whew!

Hi there. I’ve watched this video maybe 5 times. I’m on the fence on that Guerlain Quad but it looks so pretty on you. Do you think that the white shade is similar to the white shadow in the Chanel Rivere palette. I’ve got so many red/pink shades I’m sure I could dupe the rest of the palette but when you put that white shade on top it transforms the whole look. Love your reviews.

I am oily and Lisa Eldridge skin tint works really well for me but it isn’t transfer proof. If face isn’t touched it sits beautifully even after 3 hours of gym 😂

About the Guerlain quad the shades are supposed to represent different aspects of the "aura"...envisiond by Violette. You can read all about it if you're really interested on their site 🤔

I love, LOVE the baked Ombres G formula of the original releases. I have almost all of them. The formula is exceptional, but they seem to have abandoned it. Boo!! The baked formula was well worth the price for me. I haven’t tried one of their pressed powder quads in protest! 😬 I am very intrigued by the D&G skin tint! Their shade naming system is weird. It’s a skin tint so it probably doesn’t matter, but it’s still odd. I may try it. I don’t have a skin tint! My daughter in college says I’m so cute when I send her photos of me doing things too. She even uses that “aren’t you adorable” emoji that is usually reserved for puppy videos. (🥺🥺) We little old ladies out here living our lives are adorable! 👵🏻😂😂 Hope you’re feeling better! ❤

@@Julie_480 No. That one (and the other brown quad released last fall) is the pressed powder formula. The last baked quad they released was the one in the denim packaging that had the lavender shade last spring. Since then, they’ve all been pressed.

First, I have to ask how you’re doing post dental surgery? Yes, hold on to your wisdom teeth.😬🦷 The Dolce&Gabanna skin tint is now available on their website. The Cilento blueberry reference refers to blueberries grown in the Italian town of Cilento. Cilento is the birthplace of the Mediterranean Diet. I think they reference Cilento blueberries for marketing. I think Maine blueberries or any blueberries would do. But, Italian blueberries? Momma Mia!!! I think I’m going to purchase this on. It looks so pretty on your skin. I ordered the Hourglass powder in translucent light. Yes, it’s expensive but I really love their powders. The Guerlain palette is absolutely not for me. But, Rebecca you really made it work. I’m so impressed. I love this video! You’re the best! ❤️🤩🥰😘❤️

The urban decay has a lot more coverage and is a lot more matte than this one and also lasts a lot longer. This is really just a kind of luminous skin tint. But I love them both

Better than Lisa Eldridge!? I was ready to pull the trigger on that one. This new tint does look good on you. I have dry skin though. Oh, it is soooooo hot today in S.Fla. Gonna be in the 90’s. lol. I’m liking that Hourglass powder. The medium shade is sold out on Sephora. But, after I use up my CT, will buy this hourglass one. Probably will be in stock then. I really like their powder products. Would like to see a comparison of LE and D & D skin tints!

Never thought the word 'moisturizing' and 'weirdly' will go in the same sentence... not to mention 'off putting'. You see... I use to have normal skin like yours, but as you age... the entire Sahara dessert moves to your face (and rest of your body) ... THEN something like the LE skin tint is a God sent.

I have no idea what Blueberry tint is, BUT I have never clicked on anything faster than this video! I love anything blueberry 😂😂 The Guerlain palette looks beautiful on you! I might need to pick it up. I think this video is going to cost me between the palette and the "blueberry" skin tint 😂

D&G actually does have blueberry extract ("VACCINIUM MYRTILLUS FRUIT EXTRACT") on the ingredient list, and no fragrance. It says on the site that it is "infused with Blueberry from Cilento," which does seem to be a region in Italy. I think I might be able to tolerate this one and probably will try it based on. your recommendation. I have not been able to get very excited about the Lisa Eldridge skin tint, which I don't think makes my skin look much better at all. If I want no coverage, I think a better choice is the Jane Iredale Hyropure, which at least makes the texture of my skin look better and serves as nice primer for anything else I may put on top. ❤

OK. You’re right. And I actually think I read that on their website but I was so intent on finding out what sort of an ingredient Cilento was and only finding it as a city. Honestly I need to quit when I’m ahead ha ha. I don’t like the Lisa Eldridge either. Like not at all. I find it strangely moisturizing in a weird way and, to me, it provided literally zero coverage. So I just had kind of a moisturized face with no coverage. It does not float my boat in any way shape or form. But this one I actually do like.

Not similar at all. So let’s think of the dolce as a illuminating skin tint kind of like our glass or Danessa and a little bit like Lisa Eldridge and think of the urban decay very much like the louboutin, the new reformulated Mac. It wears much more matte and wears much fuller coverage even though it’s still medium

Yours is 10%. No one on their right mind would use 10% when they can wait for 20%. That’s just bad economics. Smart people wait for that 20%. There are so many of them constantly. No one needs make up so quickly that they can’t wait for the better deal.

The Dolce & Gabbana skin tint review sent me to their website. They now have powders and powder blushes. What the heck happened to their beautiful, Italian tile inspired packaging? Plain gold? I can get that anywhere! Same for the Guerlain eye palette. They used to snag me on packaging, but I have products in all of these areas that are great. I won't even bother to try these. They'd have to invent a new category. Or a color story I don't have. That would be tough for them. I have a lot of luxury makeup, and I don't declutter my fave powder compacts. True, olive cancels redness, but I'd need a lighter color. And the olive isn't guaranteed. I use the Chantecaille skin tints, and they're very lightweight. I have combo skin, so all the oil I want for the day is on my face before color. Lisa's would be too greasy for me. Her cleanser is greasy too. For redness, I tap a bit of Chanel Complexion Touch over my redness areas, and it's aces. I even use it undereye in a pinch. Chanel started that blue over neutral and pink colors with that Cristal palette I missed. I love the blue shimmer over the color in the middle. Now everyone is on that bandwagon. I have some blue shimmers in my collection, so I'll just use those instead of buying all these new eye palettes. Question for you, since you are a beauty editor: what is going on with Guerlain lipsticks? The ones with the fancy cases? They skipped making one for Spring. And, if you look around, they have very few colors and cases anywhere. Are they changing, reformulating, or discontinuing them? I have a sizable investment in them. I could be really annoyed if they do this and make my old lipsticks and covers obsolete. What have you heard? Thanks for the video,💚

You are incredibly correct regarding packaging. We pay for it so it’s nicer if we like it. So I absolutely agree with you. I’m not sure what’s happening with those lipsticks. You were right that they seem to be phasing it out or changing direction and I kind of see that the same way I see luxury car companies change the model every five or six years. I kind of wonder funnily enough if that is what they’re doing

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Interesting take on it. You are right that makeup companies do that. When Guerlain introduced this concept, they were first to do it (I believe). Since then many companies got on the bandwagon with it. However, there are some serious collectors out there (I only have 15-20, so kind of serious. None of the $200+ caps though. ). I can see a whole segment of their market getting very ticked off at the brand if they render those caps and lipsticks obsolete. Plus the dearth of high end packaging in general, to go with high end pricing could backfire on these companies. Like I said, I don't Need any makeup. They have to work to make me want something new. Except for one new item, every item I bought at the Sephora sale was a replacement for something I'm out of. And I'll bet I'm not alone. Even the reviewers I watch on KZfaq and IG are on a low buy!

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I think that would be a remarkably poor business plan. There is a ton of competition out there and almost everyone has raised their prices a Lot. I mean a Bobbi Brown lipstick is $43. Chanel $50. And the upper tiers are at between $90-110. I've thankfully not declutterred my best powder compacts over the years. But after the pandemic I had to throw out about 100 luxury lipsticks. At today's prices I'll never again let my collection of creams and liquids get very big. Plus everyone's gone "clean" now. None of us know what that will do to spoilage. So makeup has gone from a luxury pick-me-up to a considered purchase. And they've priced a lot of buyers out of entire brands. What're they gonna make it up on? It won't be volume, that's for sure.

Oh why am I interested in this hourglass powder! I hate when the included puff gets dirty, so gross. I carry a portable powder brush with me to apply my powder instead of using the included puff.

I had the hourglass powder in my Sephora cart, had to rush my cat to ER vet and it sold out. Apparently later that day it came back but again I missed out. However my cat is doing wonderfully so oh well about that powder 😂 As for the D&G blueberry tint, I lean olive so that definitely got my attention when you mentioned that!
