My holy grail nude lip is the Joah Tini Bikini balm...it’s incredible, definitely a creamy lipstick even though it’s called a balm. I have one in every purse. It’s the perfect neutral nude and amazing formula, lasts a long time.

Great review- AS ALWAYS!- Zabrena. I could not help but think as you were describing the texture and ingredients and even the softness of some of the bullets- that I bet this is what J Hill was hoping for when she created and launched her lipstick line. I will definitely be headed to my nearest CVS to pick up a few.

I have their matte gel lipstick in the shade Lover and am really enjoying it. It's a great my lips but better shade for me and looks very natural yet can be worn full glam too. It's the only matte lip I've been able to tolerate wearing all day that doesn't dry my lips out or feel uncomfortable. And it doesn't transfer and lasts through many drinks and eating! I reapply anyway just cause I like to every few hours lol but I don't need to. And at less than 5.00 at the drugstore! Yessssss!

I really want to try some of these (not sure if I can get them in Australia), but based on the bullet issues it seems like it'd benefit from different packaging designed for softer formulas (such as those poured directly in the tube that pushes up rather than twist-up, you might be able to DIY it with lip-balm applicators)

They could be fragile because they're so emollient. So much oil probably makes them less firm.

I am loving this video. I’m a lipstick junkie. Maybelline makes a lipstick remover. It comes in a bullet form like a regular lipstick. Might be helpful when you do these types of videos.

Do you think a primer might help with the patchiness? I use the e.l.f. liquid primer and think it helps with soft lipsticks.

I DONT THINK ANYONE KNOWS THIS but omg the color swatch pops off and there's another lipstick in there I prefer that formula but both are great!! Pop it off and apply with a fluffy lip brush (or finger in a pinch)and it looks and feels awesome

I looooove their colors. It's the best neutral colors I've ever found for my lip color. BUT I was hoping these new lipsticks would have better packaging. Every time I put the old ones in my purse the casing shatters. Sounds like these are delicate too. I guess I'll continue to keep them only at home counter.
