My son was very colicky for the first 4-5 months, and still at 8 months fights sleep. It is SO nice to see a mom adjusting her routine for her baby and doing things I’ve tried! This is so motivating and realistic! Thank you for being genuine! 💙

Some of the best advice I was given is to make sure not to hold your baby until they fall asleep. That way they learn to self sooth. It also lets them learn to go back to sleep without you having to pick them up to get them back to sleep. Also my kids came to work with me and were in my office which wasn't quiet all the time, they learn to sleep through anything. It was such a wonderful thing not to have to flinch at every noise, or worry that it will wake them up. Forest is such a cutie!! Good luck with the naps.

I love this. Neither of my babies are little enough for the bouncer or carrier hack to apply to me... but it's just nice to see that I'm obviously not the only one who has to think of ways to multitask like crazy just to basics done(if they even get done at all) ha. Sometimes I watch videos to get me motivated to clean but when the person either doesnt have kids or they have a partner(or someone else) to watch their kids for hours on end... I kind of mentally write them off cause I know that's not possible for me... So...this was TRUE motivation. Thank you💖

I just cleaned with the micro fiber cloths you use from amazon and I loved them!!! I haven't found anything that locks onto the dirt and doesn't just push it around so thank you so much!!! life saver!!!!

“Bar Keepers Friend” Powder is good to use with stainless sinks! I have not tried the gel or other consistencies they make yet. But I use the powder with my sink and always looks so good afterwards! Hope it can help! 😘

You did great, I remember the days of carrying the little just trying to do regular life, even using the restroom ... haha my only tip would be to let things soak before tackling them so that you spend less time scrubbing. Great job!

Finally a real video of a mom cleaning with a baby, as a single mom of a small army of kids I can tell you that cleaning with kids ain't chill.. you are carrying them, feeding them and taking breaks to make them calm and sleep.. and when your husband isnt home or your a single mom you just have to deal with it, same counts for making meals.. my kids always fight and fuzz when I am maken them a meal..

You're such a good mommy, Alexandra! I love your new house and Forrest is so stinking cute. You look amazing! Oh and as far as stainless steel, a professional cleaner told me different stainless appliances sometimes need different cleaning products. For example, I can use water or any cleaner (stainless or not) on my dishwasher and microwave, but my fridge only looks good with Weiman's spray (and not aerosol). So I've found it took some trial and error for me! You're doing such a great job. Forrest is lucky to have such a good mama!

I remember those days! My son is two now, so while I clean he leaves a trail of toys 😝 it’s cute though he wants to help. He has a toy vacuum, and broom. He now helps clean his own little table

I spray the halo window cleaner on all my stainless steel it leaves it look perfect no water marks, streaks nothing! It’s amazing as I’m a perfectionist so it’s the only thing I’ve found that leaves it looking lovely xx

Omg thank you for sharing this! I always feel like a mess because I cant get anything done unless i baby wear. My guy is 3 months. I love how realistic this was with you wearing forrest and i wish you'd film like this a little more (if it was what was going on)! Its so much more relatable than the other videos. My husband works 6 days a week, 10 hours a day so he never is home to help with the baby or chores so I always feel like I'm not doing good enough watching these videos but this one made me feel so much more normal!

Love this!! I have stainless steel sinks and draining rack and I use white vinegar to get the limescale water marks off, then baby oil to make it super shiny and clean looking!! :) x

Literally cleaning an Industrial kitchen with lots of stainless steal counters and appliances and I am using shelia shine and it’s a little potent but oh my gosh it’s better than anything I’ve ever used !!! And it’s manufacture in the U.S.

To make sure the Clorox wipes are very effective it's best to clean the counters with a regular spray and microfiber or paper towel and then use the Clorox wipe. We do this in med school to properly disinfect. I know it's more work but it's definitely the best way to disinfect. Also try wearing gloves, those wipes are strong and over time will try the hands. I love this video so much!

Magic Erasers get rid of the water marks really well. The more often you use them, the shinier your sink becomes. I buy the cheaper ones off amazon and then cut them in half or quarters so they last me a long time. Love your videos!

I scrub my sink everyday because I love it looking shiny and clean... but Bon Ami powder with a little dawn dish soap OR good ol fashion baking soda & vinegar 👍🏼 Leaves it so shiny and clean

It’s definitely a man thing!!! I had to ask my husband for 3 months to paint our baby girl nursery and he just kept putting it up!!! So I had enough, I took off from work and painted the room while my mom watched the baby! He got home and started helping me! I was 90% done .... freaking man!

Mrs. Meyers baking soda scrub is really good on stainless sinks. I use a soft brush or a sponge that has a scrubby on it and it takes all the marks off

What do you think about making the wall behind your bed a feature wall using peel and stick wallpaper? There are some really beautiful patterns available. This way you can have your color and your hubby doesn't have to paint. It can be a compromise. Although he would have to hang the wallpaper 😘. You can also bring color into the room with window shears, bedding, pillows and accessories. I know. I know...I'm preaching to the chore 🤷‍♀️. Whatever you decide to do, I've know double it'll be beautiful. You have a lovely home. Blessings 😇!

When I’m just cleaning up after a small mess in the kitchen I’ll use Mrs. Myers, but when I am cleaning up after having cooked then I use the antibacterial wipes. I just don’t believe in using antibacterial every single day. However, since this I’m outbreak I think being a little extra careful is in order. But after it’s calmed down, I’m back to switching between both. Regular cleaners do disinfect, just maybe not as extremely thoroughly which limits our exposure to bacterias that can actual help strengthen our immune system.

BKF (Bar Keepers Friend) is absolutely amazing on sinks, taps etc anything stainless steel comes up brand new. Found at Woolworths or Coles! I highly recommend.

@@tiffanymichelle3130 no, I've always gone back with a microfiber cloth or if I have a paper towel nearby and dry it out. Have never tried to just leave it for some reason, will do next time and see if there's any difference LOL

I’m so excited to see your videos when Forrest is a toddler. My peanut is 19 months and cleaning with her in the room is a disaster. I was cleaning the bathroom and she toddled in and pulled all the trash out on the floor when my back was turned.

Idk if this helps but I listen to the Sleep Sounds app. It's free and has all kinds of sounds including white noise and things like rain and empty caves. I love it for myself as well
