I am happy they added them at all especially for something small like a mobile release, but I hope they have also helped fix issues with the battles like 2 handed units being too delayed, pikes needing too much micromanagement, and that weird gunpowder unit glitch where they mess up when the front units move behind the rest after firing. For other campaign features I would like if they added an option for 1 turn per year instead of that nonsensical 2 years per turn where your generals age only 1, having actual titles in the campaign like in Med 1, and maybe try adding in features from kingdoms like culture, religious requirements for certain units, converting to another faith, forming new nations, and permeant stone forts you can build on certain parts of the map.

Another thing I hope they did was make changes to the merchants to make them more like they are in Rome Remastered since I actually liked the way Feral made Merchants there and hoped they would add those changes to the ones in Med 2 in either the mobile or Remaster.

@@PoorManatee6197 Rome isn't visually appealing as Med 2 imo, obviously med 2 is a later release so that's why. but I can imagine them not doing so because the mods that came from med 2 are incredible, just look at Third age DaC. I literally forget that it's a mod sometimes and genuiely feels like a proper LOTR Total war game.

Yes looking forward to that myself..it was in the original Medieval..I was disappointed they removed it for Med 2, but when playing Stainless Steel mod there was a sub mod that allowed you to choose your Heir..it was a bit fiddly but made such a difference to your campaign.

@@martynhulland6252 One thing that really annoyed me was that often times it wasn’t even the right heir. Your king became king before he had sons or sons who had reached the age of sixteen, so your brother or uncle or some in-law became heir, and the only way to change it was to kill the character.

Med 2 only allows you to retrain x amount of troops per turn. The number depends on what buildings you have. Upgraded castles have more slots than villages, for example. But, you can also recruit more per turn. If you have 3 slots for units, then you can recruit 3 units in a turn, rather than Rome TW's 1 unit per turn.

It was the mobile version that funded the Rome Remaster. I agree PC is better and needed, I only own a simple flip-phone so I certainly don't care for them, but removing mobile games won't create that.
