No regrets at all - Pharaoh has far too many issues internally. The game is doing dreadful also, less players than Medieval 2, Shogun 2, etc... It will even dip to below Attila and Empire's numbers by the end of the week at this rate, (according to SteamDb). If it cannot beat games that are 10-20 years old as a new release then it cannot be deemed a success. It is holding better than I thought it would, but it will certainly be dead by the end of the month.

@@MelkorGG Why use player count as a basis? The game is objectively better than most base historical games and has by far the deepest campaign mechanics and roleplay mechanics of any total war game other than perhaps 3k and rome1. The battles, too, are the most realistic since probably any total war game with how slow paced sludges are.

@@garret16 I hate slow realistic battles. The game just looks trash and cartoony. And the campaign does not look exciting. As for player count, if it was good, people will play, if it is bad people will not. If most Total war fans are choosing to not play it, and those who did choose to play it are leaving then I am not going to think it was a good game. If it was going up in palyer count - different story, but it is not.

@@MelkorGG Well, reactionary people like yourself will always be reactionary I guess. Impossible to convince someone who is so set in mind to hate something they won't even give it a fair chance, even hating on the game for being "too realistic" despite it being a historical game🤷
