This session is led by British Orienteering’s Alex Welch and Kay Hawke.
Alex begins by providing a short introduction to the newly redesigned British Orienteering website, including an overview of all the marketing and promotional resources members can now access and modify.
Following this, Kay discusses some quick tips for harnessing the power of local and national partnerships, including Active Partnerships, School Games Organisers and the Youth Sports Trust to engage new communities and increase your club’s visibility. Ahead of the 2024 World Championships, working with these partners will help take orienteering further into your local community and is an excellent time for clubs to prepare for new, wide interest in our sport!
