just snagged one of these for$74 dollars on clearance at lowes... i didnt have any flex tools or batteries but they also had the rear handle circ say kit with a 10ah battery and charger on clearance for $159 bucks!! so i guess im in Flex now lol.

FLEX has a superior vibration control. However the FLEX tools are heavy no lie ! I own all of them minus this guy but plan on buying this one before summer hits.

Bosch gbh 24vre has the same chuck design however its nicad batteries and not as powerfully however I still like my cheep bosch option 😀

I thought all rotary/ demo hammers were “quick connect” or fast insert to where you don’t have to pull back chuck? All of mine are 🤷🏻♂️ Bosch sds plus & max, Milwaukee sds max, Dewalt sds plus and also a Tacklife. That interchangeable chuck is sweet!

Our company has a few cheap, craptastic Harbor Freight specials (that we use only when we don't want to risk the Bosch or Hiltis), and they all have had quick connect chucks. I can't imagine that anything from a more reputable brand wouldn't have a feature even HF gets right.

Ooh! That's nice my guy!! I need to borrow that for a week 🙋♂️ How easy in your opinion was it going through that concrete 🤔... I have close to 1000 cinder blocks I need to demo but with precision to maybe resell them. It's an old house foundation and retaining wall in case the river floods... there's a new wall and house already.. and cinder blocks are like 4$ each in my area 💰

It broke down that concrete in about 1 minute. It was an easy task over all. For 1,000 cinder blocks maybe get a corded SDS?

I'd have to run extentions to get the power out that far, or a big generator. I haven't messed with the old homestead foundation walls yet, it's definitely in the future list - nature is taking over. Some of it really does need to go though...I've used battery 🔋 power for pretty much everything there so I don't disturb the regrowth too much.

Whay you put so much presure when driling in concrete? When you puting to much presure you blocking te hamer and its not hamering property....just wibraiting. The weight of the machine is enought. This replasing chuck was inwentet by Bosch .

I tried it with the huge bolt. Not enough torque at all. It drove the bolt about an inch before locking up.

@@MasteringMayhem Next to the hammer mode, there is usually a mode on the adjustment knob the has an arrow in a circle pattern. This mode is for moving the bit into a specific orientation for chiseling at angles. It mearly allows the user to spin the bit to the users liked position.

SDS Rotary Hammer Drills are the reason I quit buying normal hammer drills. The quick change chuck is nice but the drill is incomplete without a vacuum. I noticed that the box says 5 year warranty, but didn't Flex extend the founders lifetime warranty to 2022?
