From an american to you europeans, the bullitt mustangs stand the test of time. They're worth the money. 15 years down the line, you'll remember this car, and it will hold it's value better than a regular gt. Of course, that's if ford doesn't build one every year.

Always loved Mr Sutcliffe's knowledge and fantastic piloting skills through the years. I very recently bought a used GT and don't know why I've waited this long; the S550 Mustangs are so refined compared to my expectations and only the car's width in town is a slight drawback.. but worth the fun factor of this very charismatic car on the open road. Bullitt looks very cool :)

This is Americas icon is priceless and a rare future classic muscle car will be worth a fortune soon the last of the petrol v8ts and the last example to only come with a dying manual transmission only in this model and this is what makes this car as rare as old school can get something that we will never see again it will end up being a show piece to remind us what it was realy like to drive a stick back in the day and what an experience it realy was. Salute to the mustang bullitt.

It sounds like sweet music to my ears and great detail. Indeed, a true nod to the original. Love that V8 growl, it sounds virtually like the 1968 one that the late Steve McQueen drove.

edmaluf no. The bullitt has intake manifold, throttle body and cold air intake from the Shelby GT350 and is tuned for more power all the way to redline.

@@thedonhandon3666 Not negligible. Ford DE-TUNE'd Bullitt's so NOT to make MORE Midrange Torq. than GT350's. 350 I ntake manifold works better on Bullitt's than on Shelby's. Buy Bullitt tune from "James" w/headers/air filter & U hav a Shelby killer for much less cash. U cannot drive a GT350 on street to its abilities. So as daily drivers go, The Bullitt is best in class.

You can see it on TMC or AMC every so often. If you see it on a big screen movie theater, your stomach drops as you go over the San Francisco city hills in the chase scene. It is remarkable how closely this engine of the new Bullitt sounds to the original.

In Germany the Mustang has been the number 1 selling car in it's class. Within 1 year over 7000 mustangs have been sold in Germany, which is mind blowing that Germans love the mustang so much.

@@AviationNut In Europe V8 cars are for the wealthy. The only real options are Mercedes and they will cost well in excess of 100,000 Euro. Cars in Europe have always been for wealthy people rather than working class people. In the 1960s a Mustang could be had for about $2500 to $3000 and that was about half the yearly salary of an average American.

GT350R is a Track car. Bullitt's are a daily driver. Cannot compare them. U cannot drive a GT350R to its abilities on any American roads w/out going to Jail. Why bother for daily driving? *Be Realistic. Not Ridiculous.*

Doesn’t sound like a V8, does it?,a bit artificial sounding, a sound imposer in the Exhaust ?, tried to make it sound like the original?, and really, it wasn’t the Car, it was how it was driven in the Movie, nicely cut together to give the chase scene some bite, but today?, no, it just doesn’t do it for me, sorry.😕

@@IMGONEIN60 how heavy is it? I haven't driven this particular car. But average electronics and super heavy car doesn't go well. The GT-R for example is. An electronic marvel because of which it can get away being heavy. Then again, I can't be 100% assertive about it because I haven't driven the Bullit.

tiktok toyatoya the US spec model weighs 3800lbs. Mine has the performance package 1 and the electromagnetic shocks from the GT350. It’s really above average electronics.
