In this video I will be talking about Spike the new foxface rabbitfish I purchased from a friend of mine. He is health happy and fat. Only a couple more weeks until the fish in quarantine can join the 125 gallon reef.

I love Foxface fishes so much!! Someday I'll have a nice 100ish gallon setup to grab one of these beauties. I look forward to your new 300 gal setup Travis. Keep the wife happy. :D

Thanks for confirming no qt for healthy hobby bought fish. I just added a leopard wrasse under the same circumstances.

I have 3 fox faces one magnificent one black spot and one pure yellow. The black spot is top of pecking order. The yellow is second and magnificent last. Not sure why as they are all about same size. If any thing yellow is slightly bigger than other two. Some people say just keep one but these 3 are cool

Fox face look great. You tank is plenty big enough for a few tangs, so as you said, I wouldn't expect much fighting. I have would never quarantine a fish, if I new it came out of a clean tank. hope it all works out. You just need to make sure you have enough nitrofying bacteria to cope with the bio load.

I currently have two marine pure blocks in the sump and will be adding three more before all these fish are added into the system. One block is rated for 250gal so five should be plenty.

whats your plans for keeping that melenarus wrasse in a bear bottom tank? adding sand to a container in the back maybe?

+CJ'S AQUARIUMS I've had them before in a BB without any sand. They find a cave and sleep in it.

Are you going to use bio pellets or zeovit on the new build? I'm debating on which route to go on mine.

Just biopellets I wouldnt be able to afford dosing a 300 gallon tank full zeo at this point.

Bro you need to do a full set up on how you set up a qt tank and keep the ammonia in check I'm battling this and don't k ow why

I have the setup videos posted. When it comes to ammonia you need to use a cycled sponge filter and do weekly water changes thats the only way.

Try using fresh saltwater instead of from your tank
