DUDE!! I freakin love you bro! Great reviews with great insights and by insights I mean jokes 😂 FYI I just learned through Black Scout Survival that Carhart went WOKE I added my Tactical 2 cents and said that I will never buy another Carhart ANYTHING again. And furthermore that I’ve been working construction in my 5.11s for a few years now and they are more comfy, more athletic, more utilitarian and more tactiCOOL! When I come back in my next life I so want to come back as a gun tuber so I too can go to Shotshow! The Adult Entertainment expo in town is only a added Bennie like packing plus P ammo more bang in your hand and hotter live down range! They did move the kitchen and bath show to FL but who cares 😂

5.11 Hasn't made quality items since 2015 Our Dept switched everything to First Tactical last year and we couldn't be happier. Less expensive but better designs and quality.

In general, 5.11 tends to overpriced thesedays, and I can get something as good elsewhere for less (and they’ve discontinued the products I really liked). But I like their original cotton 5.11 cargo pants. Just bought three new pair (at a steep $55 per), and all I had to do to make them nearly as good as the old ones was cut off two belt loops. Not thrilled about the Cambodian manufacture, though, so I’ll keep looking for a domestic equivalent.

@@ckbhack I live in the hills in logging country. These Cambodian made 5.11s are quite a bit lighter than Carhartts or Logger jeans I can find for $40 and up. For what goes into them, plus a minimum wage Cambodian sewing them, $55 is plenty. I’d cough up a bit more if somebody like Tyndale was making them in America.

BTW 5.11’s knee pads suck, usually miss your knee when you kneel, so make your own from high density foam.

I do concrete in Florida everyday wearing rural king store brand work pants. $15 a pair. I do use a 5.11 belt to hold them up though 🍻
