New products often mean new gelli printing techniques and this is one I am excited to share with you all. I have used gold leaf in my artwork for many many years so introducing it on the gel plate was bound to happen sooner or later! Today I show you how I take teabag paper and gold leaf to create high quality decorative papers that look like you could snatch right off of the shelf at your favorite art supply store.

What is the difference between teabag paper and wet strength tissue paper? Thank you Robyn. I never realized you could use the leaf this way. I just got your book too!

Beautiful! I tried your technique but it did not work well. I have the paper and gold leaf, I wonder if the paint brand is important. I used acrylic paint.🌸
