I have a huge soft spot for them--- It's almost criminal that the concert decided to put them side by side like that. XD If there's an OST I think we'd agree to ask you react to, one of them has to be "Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie". This is a battle OST that was used in a LIMITED-TIME area that everyone just wants to hear again in-game. Newer players wouldn't get to hear this, so it's like a rite of passage as we share this to you!! If I had a personal favorite that I'd like to share, it has to be either "Halcyon Times", a chill OST that's played in Sumeru taverns, and "Before the Light fades", a one-time battle OST that's ominous, and feels almost too tech modern for Genshin's usual world of music. Are you going to react to the GENSHIN CONCERT 2023 "Melodies of an Endless Journey"? I think you'd really like their integration of in-game CGI and the concert itself! As a musician myself, the amount of respect I have for these musicians is out of this world. They performed the best Genshin concert to perfection.

The screen content is all from the demo or in game footage, so they probably felt they didnt need to translate it. I think the audience is just excited to see scenes they recognize on the big screen and with live music.

He is indeed part of the antagonist group, and like the other playable Fatui (Childe) they don't deny their atrocities. Some people make it seem like they do but the playable characters themselves don't deny their dark origin and have no problem being treated as enemies. It's really just up to how the players view them.

Wanderer is a 1st Prototype Puppet (Bionical Puppet) made by Raiden, But Raiden Body itself also can you call it Wanderer Sisters (2nd Puppet) because Raiden didnt have Body. Only her soul & Conciousness remaining after the Archon War. She's need body in Mortal realm, thats why she make a puppet. But the 1st puppet is Fail, thats why shes throw it and after became Baladeer/Scaramouche/Kabukimono and now is Wanderer. The 2nd Puppet is success and now act as Raiden Shogun. But the real Raiden Shogun name is called "Ei", shes inside the realm Conciousness Body of Raiden Shogun (The 2nd Puppet) called "Plane of Euthymia Realm".

The music @26:50 with the violins and piano, is some of the best in the game. It takes place in the deep chasm underground. It really gave me goosebumps when I first heard it with the chasm atmosphere and big reveal. The Chasm and Enkanomiya are both underground "sub regions" they don't get as much attention as other places in the game, but their music is so wonderful.

This year (2023) they had had a concert tour. So there were many concert halls doing their own performances around the world. Sadly the tickets sold out and I didn't get to go. But from what I've heard, each concert hall did a slightly different arrangement and song choices from the game. Like this Shanghai one did more with the children's choir and the chinese opera than other locations. Then there is the Official online concert for 2023, it was much more like previous online Genshin Concerts. The online ones have smaller groups and bands playing in between the main concert, and since its online they put a little more effort into animation and special effects for the viewers. So even though there is a Shanghai version and "Melodies of an Endless Journey" online version for 2023, they are different enough its not bad watching them both.

The best way to understand the Wanderer, would be to imagine if the Iron Giant was found and used by the military as a weapon of war before finding Hogarth, then having Hogarth die and the Iron Giant return to the only way he knew how to exist, as a weapon of war.

Theres still a few songs from Summer events like Fischl's Battle Theme, some Sumeru tracks, and Fontaine tracks that have yet to get covered in the concerts. Each year they try to have a nice mix from each region, and cover character themes and boss themes. So each year there are more and more songs for them to choose from, so some fall through the cracks.

Tbh when it comes to track recommendations, this concert features a few of the popular ones already. The obvious recommendation is scaramouch boss theme that I can't spell, polomnia something... But I'm always sad about this one, Andrius boss theme is great, I'm sad it's not as talked about as others. It seems they only featured the main story boss themes (except polomus) and rage beneath the mountains because it's too good. Oh and also across diming asterisms. It's one of the normal combat themes, after inazuma each region has like... 4 different battle themes for normal combat. ADA is quite underrated because it's rarely heard, it's an underground theme after all edit: that 4th grade of yours is really cute though

Now do you understand why I told you this Shanghai concert is the best one so far? 😁

by the way, wanderer is also part of the organization in winter nights lasso, but he wasnt there cuz at the time in the story he was in Sumeru
