This is a long response, sorry lol! I think a lot of this is Marketing 101 under the psychology of collecting fragrances. For most fragrance houses, the first release is a chance to find out how much the majority of people like a scent and what they don't like about it and then they (the company marketing team) set about to 'tweak' that fragrance as many ways as possible, thus creating what I call Flanker Inception lol. That's why you get one pillar fragrance with a dozen flankers that generally don't smell much different and sometimes, it's the same formula just in a different bottle. I honestly find that concept disingenuous, as I am not a bottle collector, but they know many people are so they just keep throwing out different bottles with the same scent. Then they start with the same name, same bottle, different year versions (like the Miss Dior range which is utterly confusing) and I just give up at that point. I think these brands get lazy and start throwing whatever seems trendy out there without much thought. I also think they use only a few labs to manufacture the perfumes and have perfumers jumping from one house to another, so things start smelling virtually the same across fragrance houses. That's why many people are going to niche, to experience the artistry of scent with perfumers given more freedom and higher quality materials to work with (although some niche houses are now beginning to fall into the designer realm trap of trying to appeal to the masses with 'cutesy' names/bottles and forgettable fragrances). I just wish fragrance houses would listen to those who want discontinued and well-loved fragrances to come back and do limited edition 'bring backs' instead of creating boring flankers of flankers of flankers.

What a coincidence. I'd just received my sample and there you dropped the review. I personally hate the OG (as well as the Fiori and Si Passione) but I like this one. It's really fruity and the nectar and the amber notes are quite prominent. Love how it transforms into soft rose-vanilla combo in the dry down. I have not smelled the black intense version yet but this one definitely my Si.

I just heard about this from Delicious Delights yesterday. So glad to see an actual review. I have the original intense so I'm curious to hear how different this one is.

Little rant about similar smelling flankers and consumer confusion notwithstanding (fully justified BTW), you clearly loved this new perfume. Glad it got the official nod of approval! Not a surprise though because not only does the Si range smell really nice, but the perfumes are also very classy. Once again, you smell a winner!

I have both. The black Si Intense is more prominent on the black current and sharper, a lot less vanilla. The new one is a lot more Vanilla and a lot softer, its like the normal version but stronger, thats it.

Better than the OG! I have used the OG Sì EDP for years, and as a fall an winter perfume the new Sì intense is just PERFECT!! I found my Sì, I will never go back 🙂

I used to be indifferent to Si. I now have and love Si edp, fiori version, and 2014 Intense. They are pretty, elegant powdery florals. Looking forward to smelling this latest flanker.

That explains.. I ordered the Si Black and they sent me the Si Intense. Was pleasantly surprised that it smells good and im glad its similar to Si Black.

I don't like the normal Sí 😖...but I love Armani Sí FIORÍ so much🌸🌸🌸such a fluffy/mashmellow scent💗💗💗

I tried the Fiori, Passion, New Intense and the Original. I prefer the new Intense over the Original. I find her review correct - Intense is warmer after a few hours. It’s pretty long lasting like 4 hrs or more. I thought it wasn’t that strong compared to others I tried like Chloe or Floral Street but I can still smell it a bit while the others are more faintly. It’s surprisingly dried down well with my body chemistry and still light and not heavy.

I got a sample of Si Fiori and fell immediately in love. But I was also very curious about the original Si and Passione. So I was very glad to discover those three in a trio set at a great price, one-half ounce each (15 ml each). After comparing all three I still prefer Si Fiori the most. And Passione doesn't excite me at all, because it's little too fruity for me. (I do like certain fruity fragrances, but not others.) The original Si is okay for a change now and then but nothing I get too excited about. Trying those three and only liking one, well, somehow that makes me less curious about any other subsequent flankers.

I love the Si Le Parfum and the huile parfum which I'm so in love with and I'm definitely looking forward to this intense version just because I love Julie Masse! ♥️

I’ve smelled the new version , and NO , it wasn’t the same as the older one or even better by any meaning ,,, the old version waaaay too sexy and long lasting … realky wish they bring it back with the same notes !!

I like Armani Si, not a love but I have a mini bottle of it. I love Si Fiori because it's sweeter. I can't wait to get my hands on this! Great review!

Hi Soki. Did you get any resemblance to Diamonds, also from Armani? I bought a brazilian brand Si clone and I noticed it. The only difference would be the lack of Diamond fresh notes.

I wonder why they change intense, maybe they want to cut costs and make it more synthetic 😢

Hi Soki, I fell in love with Sì, but sadly it triggered my migraines. That was dissapointing. I suspect the ambroxan, but I am not sure. Because of your video I tried the intense version and it is way better! The sweetness in the original was not " dark" enough, this amber tone in the intense is much better,more relaxing. I am so happy I gave it a try (I normally don't buy flankers because I fear that they might be discontinued).

Thanks for the review. I’m just about done with my Si Intense, but think I’m going to skip this new one. I’m a big vanilla lover, so without the vanilla, the new version isn’t as attractive to me.

Unfortunately I don't like the Si perrfumes. Passione doesn't smell that good and is horrible for lasting. The original smells nice but all I smell is rose and it also lasts on my skin for only 2~3 hrs only 😔. I do like Si Fiori though.

I wonder if they will bring a flanker of My Way. I think I’ll be more interested in that one.

I own the original and have smelled si intense (new one) and i plan to buy it but i saw the black one is being sold too and idk if i should buy that one instead? Whats the difference in the formulation bc the black intense and the new one?

I absolutely LOVE all of the Si fragrances! Except the red ones. I own Si, Si Intense Black, Si Pure Parfum, Si Intense 2021, Si Fiori, and Si Rose Signature! I've never found a line that i love soooo much besides the black opium line...i love all black opium fragrances as well! Except the Blue one with the green liquor note..that one should have been green too by the way and not illicit green with the plum note, that one should have been purple!

I love the Fiori one. The original Si is ok but I prefer Quatre en Rose which is quite similar. And I really like Si Passione :)

I so agree very confusing. I think most perfumes brands began to make prolific flankers. I believe they hope that average consumers would purchase them all. Watching perfume reviews like this one really helps to be more discerning. 😉

Armani is having a 40% off rn so I got the Si but intense wasn't being sold on sale, but since it's my first purchase for this, I kind of want the Si intense more because I got a sample and it smells stronger like more sweet and fruitier than the original. Ughhhh but it's more expensive.....I'm so torn!

I love the bottles the most ... 100ml are absolutely gorgeous. I just got the black one yesterday. I like the opening the most, not sure about the development on my skin, but the bottle is enough for me to keep it 😂 the cap looks like thumb though... 😂

I just own the Armani Si Le Parfum. Its good! I would for sure own some more.

I have the original Si edp and the Passione. Much more prefer the original. Not fond of the fiori one either. Never smelled the intense version though.

I got it 2 weeks ago...so beautiful scent way much better than the original in my opinion....but....it does not last...about 2 hours and then vanishes...

There's no difference between the intense and the other one. They both smell amazing and last long on the cloth not on the skin. I really love both. Vanilla is my favourite though
