She is a glass cannon. She hits super fucking hard. It's whole point of her. Also every ability Is on a fairly short cooldown so she blinks in uses her burst dmg to try and 1 shot someone and then you quickly leave in stealth.

I actually like how the relic system works in smite 1. They can just increase the cooldown if they think it's op but having 2 relic slots and active items sounds fun

I think it's a combat blink. So it's the opposite. Blink every game, never use beads

I personally enjoy the faster ttk. It's what smite 1 was like for over 9 straight years, and a big reason why me and many others enjoyed the game way more than other MOBAS. just because it's s moba doesn't mean it has to be slow and methodical 24/7. Sometimes if you catch someone out of position, they deserve to be sent back to base. It increases the necessity for game awareness, positioning, warding, etc. In many cases it actually makes the game MORE methodical, because one or 2 mistakes can cost you way more than before. It benefits faster reaction times, and amplifies outplay potential, comeback potential, and overall mechanical skill, because EVERY fight is so much more impactful. thats why so many people like the change. I don't enjoy long drawn out games where all I do it pve for 15 minutes straight and there's almost 0 lethality. This is my opinion though, just wanted to share my thoughts reasoning from the other perspective 😄

There are lots of other game modes and other games for people that want to instakill everything that moves, idk why te community want to ruin smite so badly

@jomaroal22 Smite was literally at its all time highest player base before 9.5. And the players have only gone down since then. If anything the 9.5 patch hurt the game more than helped it in the long run, if we're talking from a strictly numbers perspective. The revert is literally just going back to what Smite was for the first 9 years

Incon says that a higher TTK is more "skillful" because you have to hit more abilities in order to get kills. I mean I guess but at that point is it even fun?

@@joshnicholsYT lmao i get your point but they are different games dude. Big part of a counter match is information gather, so of course you are punished if you cant accomplish this. In Smite the information is not that important, you almost all the time know when the enemy is

I absolutely hate the revert too, i dont think Incon is wrong in this one. The revert is only a cheesy way to shut down the crying players that wanted something more for 11.6 when clearly there are only like 5 devs in Smite 1, of course it was going to be a small patch.

Getting a full peel off of the 9.5 changes is pretty bad, I don't think ANY of the squishies should get so many free prots however the HP being dropped severely reduces tank effectiveness and removes the laning phase from the game. You might go an say "You not liking it doesn't mean everyone else doesn't." When there's out cry that it ISN'T liked by everyone else. Don't get me wrong I don't believe kill potential and outplay potential should not exist, quite the opposite however the revert 200% was so people wouldn't cry about the changes not being big or impactful. SOME enjoy that they can punish tanks but these are also people who want tanks to not exist 90% of the time and players who enjoyed the worst times of the game overall. A partial reduction to HP and a revert of the prots would have been more preferred because no one should die to one round of spells or skills. No one, I don't care that it's a 2s cc. You die before the cc runs out. That's bad. You can die before the end of the cc early game even if you positioned well? That's also bad. 9.5 revert didn't fix the main issues with the game especially with all the items added AFTER 9.5 to reduce shields and healing. The difference between 9.5 and revert was % pen vs flat pen. That was pretty much it. Also Smite has been hemorrhaging players for a few years, NOT just recently when they announced smite 2.

@@Frostbyte115 I completely understand and respect your argument, and I'll just throw a small counter out there to your argument Cabrakan jungle is my go to right now because of the classic 1 plus poly auto for shits and gigs. 9.5 this did about half someone's hp and now it does about 90% of a targets hp which means a 2 will definitely be enough to get the kill. However: 1. I have to be in melee range to do this therefore if you have teammates near you with cc along with your own I won't be able to do this. 2. If you are positioned well this won't happen. 3. If you use your actives well enough you wont die to the cc and damage. These are all things to consider and is what makes the skill ceiling higher imo because you have to be smarter than the enemy almost all of the time now. It is a junglers job TO get as much damage off in a fight before he dies and getting a pick in the jungle like this has always been a strategy used in any meta. And finally number 4 is of course, if I'm building full damage I'm also squishy as fuck so if you are better than me you're gonna kill me first

Because no1 enjoys a snoozefest of stalemates because there are 0 objectives to take.

Because people need to instakill to actually get kills instead of playing with their team like a good team based competitive game. This low ttk thing is literally ending smite last competitive mode

@@jomaroal22 The only people complaining are the bad players who are getting punished more for their shit positioning. Having longer ttk does not equal more team work.
