Hey, I’m currently doing nursing and I strongly considering switching to physical therapy but the Tuition for pt school is really scary. Would you say it’s worth it and what was your undergrad major and what was your gpa? Sorry for all the questions.

hi! 💗 i would really base it of the type of job & lifestyle you see yourself having in the future. i was considering nursing too for awhile, & looking back it would have been SO nice to be done school and working right after undergrad. nursing also is so flexible shift-wise and so much room to move up to NP if you desire. PT is gears to the ground studying, not making money for 7 years until you get that Doctorate degree. The salary between PT & nursing really isn’t much different too. Its all preference honestly & which career you see yourself in plus your financial situation! i hope this helps💗 my major was Exercise Science and GPA 3.7

@@kristennicolosi Thank you for your advice doctor! I wish everything wasn’t so expensive in NY. Also, what days do you or an average PT work? Weekends and holidays?
@kristennicolosi
@kristennicolosi Жыл бұрын
@@saeedh2603 most outpatient clinics are closed weekends/holidays which is nice! usually 5 days a week with 8 hours shifts. inpatient settings will be 8-5s or sometimes 4-10 hours shifts with weekends & some holidays required. hope this helps💛
