Honestly the engine is under powered. As the competition is having cars with 120 & 150 PS.

Maruti Suzuki could have considered 1.4 turbo paired with torque converter for AWD model.

Maruti should seriously bring back the 1.5 ddis engine... It can absolutely smoke Hyundai/Kia's CRDI Engines without a doubt...

How is the suspension set up differently on this as compared to the Hyryder?

How good it will be in off road (AWD) as compared to Duster AWD?

How many AWD models or only one the Alpha AWD

Not sure why but all reviewers are skipping the underpowered character of the car. How come mere 103 bhp is enough for such a huge car even the torque is less. It surely gonna feel sluggish when loaded fully. But for some reason every one is ok with 103 bhp

Availability of every type of Engine and transmission options by the Korean Siblings (24 variants when i got my Seltos) .. This is the biggest reason why Creta Seltos will still sell like 🔥 🎂Also Maruti with its 5 Speed for the manual ones.. I mean cmon 😢..but I'm sure Koreans will be BIT sweating now. This segment is now Blood-Brawl and I'm loving it (though not loving the removal of Diesel from many manufactures)

They should have given the 1.4 litre Booster Jet as an option at least, heck the 1.8 NA from Corolla . .. would have been a complete car

I drove this car with 6 people in it excluding me (2 in the boot).. it pulled effortlessly, it was smooth, silent and very easy to drive for such a large car..it takes the bumps and hilly roads with ease... Sure its under powered, unless you are racing, you would not feel it. A perfect family car either in the city or for get aways!

Cyrus plz plz one suggestion, would u choose the GV Mild Hybrid over the segment leader The Creta, plz do give your opinion.

Wish it had a 6th gear in manual, would have gotten the allgrip model and remapped it

Really appreciate the emphasis on the safety! I tell my old folks and others that the chime for the seat-belt is coming cause they haven't buckled up theirs, in my car. Hey, I tell them to buckle up if they're feeling sleepy as they don't get tossed around too! Trick them/con them, but keep yourself and your people safe. That aside, brilliant presentation! And thank you for swaying my interest in this mature riding vehicle. Might be what we get after all!

If this car is equipped with old scross' 1.6 diesel engine. Without considering its economy I would blindly go the showroom next day of its launch for booking. Becoz It leaves dust of over priced tincans with hyped fancy features

Nice location and that’s a good looking Maruti Suzuki. What’s even better these guys will not have extravagant waiting period for people to rethink.

New S cross would have been a better name, the Grand Vitara was a legend and came with a V6 Petrol motor, way ahead of its time .In terms of performance this car is nowhere ...times have changed and so have requirements ( fuel efficiency and features top priority for todays car buyer- 360 degrees camera and wireless mobile charger more important than engine performance and safety). What's the use of a chassis which doesn't have a potent engine, this car should have got at least 150 bhp turbo petrol with hybrid tech . Creta will still rule this segment only because of its 1.5L diesel .Finally , Although not crash tested By G-NCAP its unlikely it will exceed 3 star safety for the 6 Airbag version....

Powerdrift reviews have lost its uniqueness. It looks & feel the same as any other in this game atm. I don't know if its a good or a bad thing. But there's nothing left to inbihit 'excitement' when you come across a PD review thumbnail.

best maruti was the S-Cross 1.6 diesel...

Won't get a diesel again. Made a mistake with the Innova diesel. It has so much DPF issues that it's become a headache for us. So, better to go with a petrol or a hybrid.

At least a 120 bhp diesel would have done wonders to this already promising car. Still, MS have come up with a great looking car in the new Grand Vitara.

as good as the car is, it's 105 BHP engine is a let down. not everyone can afford a strong hybrid and the increased fuel economy is well offset by the extra you pay (getting extra 6-7 kmpl by paying 3-4 lakhs more makes little sense unless you drive your car for 1-1.5 L kms). the best selling variants of creta are with the 115 BHP engine which is a good mix of power and comfort. Suzuki should have worked a bit on the engine - it is surely capable of more power and torque. good car but has one major drawback. forgive me for virtue signalling here, but only stupids for whom car is about show and not engine can buy the 105 BHP variant and not feel bad about it. Compromises galore!

The video is good as always. Grand Vitara as I remember was a rugged and luxury gypsy for me. They had all the time to make this a 4/4 luxury car but no they had to go the same design as brezza. But the features r ok. Here if I had to choose I would rather go for the toyota hyrder instead of this vehicle.

If Maruti comes with a 2 L turbo version of this car with AWD and automatic - it could kill the market. But like all Japanese companies - Suzuki is still stuck in its outdated perceptions of the Indian consumer’s preferences.
