IDW needs to get things sorted for Ghostbusters reprints. Those HCs would fly off the shelves especially with the new movie.

I think IDW lost the rights to the Ghostbusters franchise and its now in the hands of Dark Horse.

Can anyone tell me why TMNT the IDW collection vol 14 is completely sold out and not in-print like the others? Can't find it anywhere for a reasonable price.

Yeah.. My understanding was they were going to keep printing them indefinitely. Maybe that one is not currently being reprinted and sellers are just taking advantage until it is. I’m seeing them on eBay for $250+ lol

Hi, Any idea/info if TMNT urban legends (V3 image reprints) will get the hardcover treatment? Wondering if I should hold off on picking up the two tpb.

Probably not for a long time, if ever. If they keep going with the Compendiums they have at least 2 more before they get to the Image stuff.

Collecting graphic novels for 20 years, but still the same problem. Binding issues. I've got the limited edition of 30 Days of Night so i don't plan to buy it, but maybe others would not buy it, because of the binding...Why can't the publishers make better quality books?!

Completely agree. Poor quality binding is the biggest problem I’ve found in decades of collecting. Boom is probably the worst, but IDW and even the big two have these issues. And it’s not really just a size issue. I have a lot of prose books, some since college over 30 years ago, that are also 500+ pages that have perfectly sound binding to this day. This is really a norm of low quality production accepted by comics publishers. I get it that there must be a cost issue. But I bet most people would probably pay a little more for better binding.

@@ZizouZico Exactly. Boom's and IDW's binding is the worst, but DC's Absolutes having this issues, and of course Marvel's omnibuses too. Collecting graphic novels is not the cheapest hobby, but as you wrote, i will pay more, if they make better books.

@Kor33Com I got the wormwood deluxe hc a few years ago and yea, I stopped reading is because all the pages completely came unglued from the spine. The swen bind and endpages were the only thing holding it together.

@@TheDARKNESS8030 Got the Wormwood deluxe too... Reading the first time was ok, but second time I got problems with the binding too. Can't understand the publishers... buying just a few books from Idw or Boom.

The only thing deluxe with IDW's deluxe edition HC's is the price point.

My "30 Days of Night" has a printing error. Does yours? Pages 267-270 and 275-278 in mine are identical. 267-270 are between the Annual and Return to Barrow. 275-278 are in the correct place in the Return to Barrow series. Page 266 is the end of the previous story. Unless there is a short story of 4 pages it just looks like those pages are added in between.

I wonder why idw just doesn't want to give 30 days a ohc treatment. I have the omnibus and was shocked when it was manga sized. Ben templesmith is one of my favorite artists and I feel that his work doesn't ever really get a chance to shine. Wormwood is the only one so far. But its so niche that it doesn't really get to much attention. I didnt even now that it got a 2nd vol.
