Congratulations on winning shared custody that’s Huge! and the best thing for your kids. I personally understand the pain you went through with all the challenges the standard lies and accusations, it can be so draining and the fact that you stuck through it is a testament of your love for your family take the time to enjoy the precious moments with you kids! Father’s Day this year will be extra special!

The B LE Audio is absolutely worth the upgrade, and it’s everything as advertised! The last couple of years I’ve come to depend on streaming from my phone to Signia’s. I upgraded to the J E P 20 from Costco just to get this new Bluetooth (FYI, had great experience with C). I’ve been blown away with the signal strength! Recently bought the Streamer+ and I’m blown away again. I can literally go to a different floor of the house and stay connected. Plus, the adjustments you can make from app makes it even more impressive. Well done ReSound/Jabra!

Yes! This is what I wanted to hear, that’s great! Jabra reads these comments and it’s important that we let them know how their products perform and how they improve our lives. But most importantly, the bad stuff as well and what can be improved. Thank you for sharing!

I've had TV Streamer+ since January from Ash Audiology for $240. It's awesome with extended battery life and distance. I can go up to about 200 feet from the device and still get good reception. The sound quality I think is better than the TV Streamer and it was pretty easy to setup. It's also much smaller which is a plus.

I’m so glad you have shared custody!! I always let my kids know how much their dad loved them as well as myself. It’s so important that they know they had nothing to do with you and your ex getting together or separating! Kids tend to blame themselves. I let their dad have them most all holidays except Christmas Eve which my mother loved!! His family was more fun with no arguing 😅 My babies are almost 49 & 46 and doing very well 🥰 Their father passed a few years ago. 😢 God Bless you and thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!

Have mine ordered from my local Costco. Will pick them up when they get my 6 month old Jabra 2.0 back for needed warranty work. Lost the function to use iPhone phone call as I could only hear the caller and they could not hear me.

probably the most important thing for me, would be checking how this streamer behaves with other devices like Philips 9050 (not sure if it has LE A enabled or is just ready) or new Rextons when they get LE A firmware.

I have been trying to get an answer direct from Jabra but they haven't answered me yet. The Jabra Enhance Select 500 has Bluetooth LE Audio & Auracast just like the Jabra Pro 20. Jabra enhance website does not show the TV Streamer+ as an accessory for the 500. Will the TV Streamer+ work with the Jabra 500? John

I’m curious - does the regular audio stream get cut off when you use this? That is, will the person with hearing aids be the only one in the room who can hear anything?

No, the way these tv streamers are designed is to allow the audio to still come out of the tv as well as the streaming

Is it reasonable to assume that all HA brands that have or will have Auracast capabilities will also produce TV streamers that will broadcast Auracast and then HA users will be able to buy the cheapest of those even if from a HA brand they don't own? Or maybe even not specifically made for HAs?

There are a bunch much lower cost Bluethooth 5.3 transmitters out there. Will they work with the pro 20 hearing aids? It seems that they can receive the standard auracast audio so Jabra shouldn't be able to require a proprietary streaming device like they do with the standard tv streamers.

All of the transmitters I’ve looked at specifically say they don’t work with hearing aids. I just bought one and I’m testing it out

@@HearingClub I tried a bluethooth transmitter 3-4 years ago with my oticon aids and they would not connect. I have had success with a Ruku tv streaming device but not the firecube streaming even though there is a option for hearing aid connection. The fire sticks don't have that option. I'm betting the new bluethooth 5.3 tranmitter will work but may have to use the auracast option. I will be getting the Jabra pro 20s shortly and need a lower cost option for multiple TVs.

I hooked mine up with the optical tv connection and a usb port on the tv. Easy to hook up. When the tv is on, there’s a line that shows up on your iPhone Jabra app that you click and adjust the volume. Works great.

If I get a new Jabra hearing aid, how many bluetooth connections can I make before I have to reprogram my aid to connect to another bluetooth? I use a bluetooth connection to my phone all the time, can I also connect to th Jabra TV Streamer without having to program my hearing aid to use it with my phone again?

Does anyone have any details on the new M$RIC receivers. Do they require close domes and what hearing loss will the work with?

They do require closed domes and the fitting range is mild to mild/moderate. They are very low power receivers. It makes no sense since mild high frequency loss sounds terrible with closed domes

@@HearingClub Thanks I have moderate high frequency loss and open domes seem to work best for me. I'm still hoping that hearing aides will some day make good use of our natural sound scoops that we were born with.

I got the new Jabra enhanced pro 20, the streaming audio is very tinny even with eq base at maximum. Have gone back to Costco , they don’t seem to know how to correct. Any ideas?

Yes! Use nice headphones that are made for music. Hearing aids are designed to stream music, they are designed specifically for understanding speech. Streaming is just a convenience but not the main purpose for them.
