INTRODUCING the new Jaguar F-Type! It’s a fresh-faced update of one of the most recognisable British sports cars, giving it a bigger grille, scowling headlights and an overhauled bonnet! Also new is an updated infotainment system and an even sexier exhaust sound! What hasn’t changed, though, is the quality of what you'll find under the bonnet - the engine range extends up to a monstrous 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 575hp and 700Nm torque! But is all this enough to make the F-Type a TT RS-killer? Let’s find out!

@@mro9466 I don't think Australia gets that model but could be wrong. We don't get many base model cars here. For example we only get the "S" AMGs. 2L in a coupe is a waste of time. Just for posers

The rear end of the car is the only part I actually liked. Tbh now the car looks abit like a Maserati grandturismo, besides it’s not as if they f-type was ever really the best looking sports car in the first place anyways...

That is actually why I do not like the front. Every other car these days is trying to look mean and aggressive. This was supposed to be elegant and smooth/slick. It is way too much for my liking tbh. I would love to see the front with headlights more like the old e-type or 250 gto but ofc adapted to LED tech. I find it sad that most LED lights are just these mean-looking strips. Not really creative if you ask me and it makes everything look same-ish.

Although very similar it’s not the same. Which is definitely a bonus I love how it’s more evolution than revolution and it’s lost the old fashioned sit on the fence smooth look. Things alike the lights and parts of the rear bumper are much more squared off.

I love my 2019 F-Type V6 although I am in two minds about the front lights. I do like the old headlights, but I do like the new headlights. Also, I stopped at traffic lights next to the Aston, which at first, I thought was the F-Type.

The rear looks exactly the same, (and that's a good thing) the roofline is ever so slightly lower, witch makes it look faster, and the old front was cute and pretty, this is aggressive and pretty! Well done👏

Great design and absolutely beautiful car! Two points to highlight, however: 1) it looks a little bit Audi (front grill and headlights); 2) the previous one was really more original regarding the front design.

It's freakin gorgeous! It was getting really old. This is an excellent progression in design! Since the old F Type had similar looking lights and grill to the E Pace, will the E Pace get this look? And, btw, when will the E Pace be all new? It's still on the older (and much heavier) Evoque platform. Now that the Evoque is new, the E Pace needs to get updated and put on that new platform.

The old one looked like it was far more ageless than this one. If they could have kept that quality (the lights for example on the new one would probably be on every car in 5 years time) while making it more aggressive it would've been perfect. As it is, it's a little derivative already, and its just been announced!

I own the precious version 340 PS V6 Coupe. This car is just hilarious and the sound is epic. It´s so much fun to drive with the car and for sure you always have a smile on your face. Jaguar did a really great job and they seem to keep going with a slightly other designe which is nice but I still prefer the "old curves".
