They already objected to an injunction to hold off on the state title game until a resolution can be agreed to. It's in the hands of the BOE now. Wouldn't be too surprised if this went all the way to the State Supreme Court.

So referees can wrongly overturn a good basket, but the high school commission of sports will not overturn their mistake? The Camden Coach and Principal should show true sportsmanship and say they award the game to Manasquan. Video obviously shows it isn't even close. Thoughts anyone?🤔

People from Camden High don't owe anybody a damn thing. The played hard, hustled, and gave themselves a chance at the eventual WIN. The shouldn't apologize for that. You stick with it and keep grinding, you catch a break sometimes. If someone up higher manages to overturn that result before Saturday, then, so be it. But it shouldn't be put on the folks from Camden High school to do ANYTHING but get ready to play in the state final.

If the Camden principal or Head coach had any sportsmanship or pride they would do the right thing and give Manaquain the victory. What they are doing is turning a blind eye to their players. That's not the way to teach their kids sportsmanship. The Camden players know that they lost.

If the trail official disagreed with the calling official you would think he would have come forward immediately and discussed what he saw. Instead he is seen casually leaving the court until confronted by a Camden coach Then gets together with the other officials and suspiciously overturns the call. Why? We’ll never know.

It happened a few years ago in Illinois HS Football. Fenwick HS was robbed on the final play of the game, because an official did not know the rule and eliminated Fenwick from going to the State Finals. The state HS association later admitted the bad error, but nothing could be done. Game over. It happens....life goes on.

@@michaeljordan6008 Maybe, but probably not, as life will give these kids other memorable events, good and bad. This will be a story that they tell at family gatherings, if anyone is interested. Your last comment reminds me that I have a box full of MVP and All Star trophies sitting in a closet that I haven't looked at in at least 20 years. I will toss them this weekend, but I will sit down and read the newspaper clippings that my Mother saved and then I will toss those too. Big deal at the time, but so many have happened since.
