I love his design but i feel so disappointed with his power, not only is it clunky and seemingly weak but it feel kinda basic for a killer called The Blight. Just how i feel so far.

If unrelenting reduces the duration of the swing after a Lethal Rush, while not super great on complex tiles, your ability to move across the map and very quickly get a hit is really strong. On larger maps I feel there are a lot of situations where Brutal Strength and Unrelenting will let you not even have to play tiles. You can catch survivors before they even get to the next one. He isn't really a stealth killer, unless you take the add on which grants you undetectable, but playing him hit and run seems quite a bit more viable than trying to fenagle your power around loops.

Overall though, not great. Just being an m1 killer at a complex tile is rough, and having to take a perk like bamboozle for instance to mitigate it is just another perk for something else you've lost.

His power looks difficult to master and not that rewarding, its very hard to activate or to get hits with. They either have to buff this a lot to feel more organic or give him a second power. I sadly see him as a second Bubba, a meh power killer with busted perks. I hope they will release him more ez to control. Edit:this is not my opinion. Seeing others play/ playing it myself is fine. I would put it at a solid B. I still think he s hard to master doe.

The main problem is that you can't lunge properly in the power. As survivor, it seems very easy to 360 and the collision makes the power very clunky to use. Movement controls aren't as good as The Oni. if they fix all 3 problems, he could be very fun to killer to play and very challenging to play against as survivor. My advice is use lockers whenever he uses his power. The double stun on hit+fatique is another bad negative that should be removed.

I am astounded by this design like hey, you remember that COOL halloween event lore and shit? Hey look heres a killer thats directly based off of it! The power? Oh its a faster legion that bumps into walls and cant hit unless he bumps into them and the reward for this painful power of bumping into clunky hitboxes and somehow making use of the strange speed? Yeah a single health state This killer is dissapointing in so many levels

I feel like they just need to make him easier to control, increase his lounge out of the dash, and fix his collision. Maybe they could let him swing without having to bounce off of something, idk about that tho.

I feel like “The blight” is played like a reverse Legion bc w/ legion, you use their power to easily injure ppl and chase them normally to finish the chase, but w/ Blight, it looks like he’s suppose to chase survivors normally to get the initial hit THEN he uses his power to easily finish the chase :)

To be able to use this killer, you need to strictly utilize geometry; By strictly, I mean you need try not to cut corners, you really need to bounce at angles and not rely on the small bounce-back provided by Slam to gain the angle you need to launch the next Rush. That's why there is a small pause after Slam before the next Rush in order to give you time to look around/navigate your next Rush. This design is surely less efficient than regular M1 + Chase strategy on average but when combined with his add-ons + map knowledge/familiarity, you can increase the percentage of its efficiency and add more diversity in your playstyle.

I think they should buff him by allowing him to injure survivors in your basic rush but to down someone you need to bump into a wall. If you attack an injured survivor on your basic rush it should inflict deep wounds or broken or something like that. Let me know if this is to strong or still kinda weak.

Haven't played him, but from watching OhTofu: Maybe try using it like a ricochet. I see you trying to use it to bounce and keep going in the same direction. For instance when going in a circle, don't hit the circle and then turn back into the circle. Instead find objects around the circle and hit those to move around the circle. Like, imagine a hexagon around a circle. You want to take the hexagon path while the survivor takes the circle path. Not sure if that makes sense without drawings, but I hope it helps. I want to see an addon called snatch. When ever a survivor is performing an action and your in your rush after hitting a wall you can pick them up and continue your sprint (could also include time to grab after they stop their action for like 3 seconds)

A neat add-on for blight would be to spend a token when running into a pallet/wall to break it

I kinda wished he could inject himself with different serums for his ability. You know, serums that give him different boost for most situations, like faster attack speed, faster vaulting, faster movement and reduced stagger for a few seconds or serum that let's you see survivors within a certain range with a movement speed debuff or something like that.

The killer it's actually The Alchemist, but they changed his name because of his new look due to him injecting the serum and becoming a killer.

i like Dragon's Grip with Pyramid's generator perk where you have no terror radius.. you can literally sneak behind a wall, wait for the survivor to go to the bait and you grab them off

I was expecting something kinda similar to The Plague after I saw his name was The Blight. This seems a bit disappointing. Those updated maps look absurdly good though.

It may be a bug but you can cancel the syringe animation by picking someone up. Attacking while rushing also cancels it.

Actually I’ve just come up with something I like better so he’s not just Billy 2 make it so that you have to press a button and consume a token so then the next time you hit a wall you bounce instead of automatically bouncing when hitting a wall

In my testing, it worked as long as haunted ground was active. After the 60 seconds it just went away. But that means, if the survivors are really trying, you could get 4 minutes out of kt

his perk that blocks pallets seems strong on him: when you take a hit you can't run away bcs of his power, and can't really stay bcs of the blocked pallet

I feel like behavior does this thing where they know they’ve released a weak killer, so they try and give you desirable perks to make up for it and same thing vise versa... but it doesn’t work as well as they think it does 😂

hex: blood favour feels like it encourages survivors to make more distance after getting hit, making chases longer, so that feels iffy to me. but it sounds kinda spooky with infectious on bubba or oni or a snowbally killer

So he is the alchemists mainly because of his iridescent blight tag shown on hallowed blight cosmetics on killers and in the cutscene of the alchemists he injects himself with the vial eventually turning into the blight

If you look at his blight tag addon, it is the same as the tag that all killers with a blight skin have on their back.

I think he has an amazing power with great potential! One thing I would change about him right off the bat is you can choose when you recharge your tokens. Similar to the clown. If you run out of tokens, you can press CNTRL to INJECT and when you do your tokens replenish. That way you don't have to immediately go into a stun. Another thing I would add is to lower the collision hitbox level when in the dash. I know I'm no game developer and that I might not know what I'm talking about, but give him MORE of an ability to drift across walls like Billy when approaching at a certain angle. That's all :)

I think they need to make the hitbox smaller for bumping into things when in rush and give more freedom to his rush’s movement overall. They should also add a bit of a curve at the start like the Hillbilly’s chainsaw. The swing at the ‘lethal rush’ needs to be increased and should have MUCH more freedom. Other than that I think they’ve nailed this. The power is interesting in my opinion, and the aesthetic for this killer is amazing. The graphics are really nice as well.

the lunge at the end of a dash looks like you get to normal speed instead of a long lunge with the extra speed of the dash, hope the change that.

What amazing perks for the killer - anti ruin (since most games have ruin spawn near someone or in the most obvious spot), this makes me want to defend my totems more, even the dulls - anti pallet, self explanatory, downside is low range which is fine, a good survivor will run from a pallet and not stick around anyway so can be a meh perk, but good noob punisher too - anti-freaking-gen pushing/bullying, i absolutely love this perk next to the anti ruin perk, you kick it and walk away, u can now down them and know when they are there, its such a good SwF killer perk, it probably going to be as meta as BBQ

I think that if you swing after a dash anyway it’s better, I think the animation of swinging is shorter than the injection animation

Im haven't played but here's a tip. Think of it as sonic... when you hit a enemy(a wall in your instance) sonic can continue to hit other enemys and move farther( you can continue dashing and maintain the sprint 👍😀😀

I dont have a pc but it seems that when you collide into something with the Rush, it's like Nurse you have like a second to look where to run next and use the dash to continue and potentially avoid ricocheting alot in a closed area like under the school

Hope they do the same fix they gave to Nurse when she was getting double slowed by blink stun and hit animation, even if it's just made into one animation that lasts just as long.
