Even though Pusic and Kitty haven't met yet, if they both have full run of your home at different times of the day they are going to become familiar with each other's scent, and that will help when they finally meet. My daughter and I have rescued many strays over the years, so we've become pretty good at introducing a new cat into our home. We've noticed that, although it may take time for 2 adults to get along, an adult usually doesn't have a problem accepting a kitten. And a kitten is usually happy to meet an adult because they like the comfort and security they feel from being near an adult cat. I hope that when they finally meet, all goes well.
