Today, I share the new way to use a paint bucket to fill either a single layer or an entire layer in Krita!

My fill bucket is glitched it will fill in the whole screen instead of the place i want to fill

Try going to the the tool options panel (when using the fill tool) and under "Sample" choose "All Layers"

Or make sure the lineart is fully closed and don't leave any gap open, hope that helps

my problem is the opposite, its filling the whole thing instead of under the section of the line layer, where it is supposed to be

Did you ever manage to figure this out? I've been having this problem too and I'm not sure why it's happening. Recently I learned that you can play with the threshold (of the bucket tool) to fix it but even that stopped working for me.

Tysm! I've been getting in to retexturing, and everytime I would fill in one part, it would always fill in the entire workspace

@@levi-zq7vq HI! Under the use selection as boundary, there is this thing that says "sample:" Use the dropdown tool and turn it to all layers in order to fill a certain section, and not just the whole canvas.

Check/Uncheck option for Fill Entire Selection is gone in 5.1 version. Am I right?

I have the opposite problem, no matter what I do it fills everything instead of where I want it to. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Go to the tool options and scroll down to where it says "sample". then use the dropdown tool and turn it to all layers. :)

1:05 Mine doesn't do that...mine fills the ENTIRE layer with red instead of the drawn circle (unless i take an EXTRA step to make a selection inside the circle, which is very annoying) PS: I do not have those settings, AT ALL, way different ones :(

Every time I try to fill, Every thing is fine but the color. Cause its always grey and not the color I chose.

I Can't fill in an outline, the only thing i can ''fill'', is if there's NO OUTLINE. And now i can't make anymore things because i can't fill in outlines!!!! >:( Edit: *AM I THE ONLY ONE EXPERIENCING THIS PROBLEM!?!?!?!?*
