I wish there was an option try out the new skins in practice tool or something before purchasing. All skins have a different feel and a different look based on your video settings, there is almost no way to know if you actually like the skin besides how it looks in videos. League has a PBE were you can try any skin before purchasing there is no reason why Valorant shouldn't have the same, seeing how skins are non-refundable and expensive.

Since the shop system is super subpar, it gets more and more new players to adore skins and then eventually buy them because of anticipation.

yea like savmc said I'm fairly sure its not specific to what skin you use but it's just random, most skins do this. For some reason tho the rumour has spread that it changes with the variants. I think I even saw avg jonas going over the skins and he said it was despite two of the skins having the same exact inspect sound back to back.

The overton window on skin prices has shifted so far, arguing for an $80 price tag is insane. Its a skin bundle. realisticly this (as one of the best bundles imo should cost $25-30 MAAAAAYBE $40 but anything over that is an insane price for any skin.) not only that but think about how many people would buy this whole bundle for $40! people would go insane over a cheap but super dope skinline, I think just because more people would buy it riot might make a simmilar amount of money.

I agree it’s too expensive. I don’t agree with your assertion that riot it is generating “ money out of no resources” that is just demonstrably false. At bare minimum they are paying artists and developers to implement these skins in the game. But more accurately these skins also finance the entire game. Game design, network administration, esports etc. they expend a ton of resources to make this game let you play it for free. The skins are worthless if you don’t have a game to play them in. And that game costs money to run.

just looked up the writings on the weapon that you mentioned, actually it says 波紋 or Hamon in japanese (it means ripples)... the word xiaoyu that you mentioned are written as 小雨 in chinese... so its actually not xiaoyu

To be fair this bundle looks so different from other bundles (animation,pullout,kill banner). With all of that the final kill makes the WHOLE map rain which is kind of insane in itself. still bullshit price tho.

Bro are you a school student ? Well maybe you can ask your parents to lend you some money for buying stationary or something like that, just make some excuse. You already have 8000 vp so like if you can somehow arrange 15-20 bucks then you can get the bundle. I think that this ones's pretty good and you won't find any better bundle within 8000 vp......riot has been delivering only expensive bundles recently. So maybe try getting this one as its really nice.

I get that they've kinda backed themselves into a corner and they can't make new skins cheap because then owners of old ones would be mad, but I genuinely think that they would make up to double their profits if the bundle was half price. It's unbelievably stupid how they have the prices set up for some regions too where the only options for VP either leave you 50-200VP short or 500-1000 too much. Even 2150 for each gun like they've done in the past would be great. Also I think old buyers would probably be mostly fine with it, as someone who owns spectrum now that there are more (and better) music skins I low key feel like it was insanely overvalued but I'm not marching in the streets because skins are cheaper lol I'm happy for it. But this will make it the 5th most expensive bundle in the game, and while it's definitely really good I don't think it needs to be any higher than RGX, SOL, Ruination, Chaos, Crono, Araxys, imperium, overdrive, glitchpop, blastX, singularity etc. Seriously what differentiates this from 2150 skins, almost all have sick pullouts, unique reloads, nice sounds, cool finisher etc. RGX, Chaos, overdrive, araxys and singularity even have special inspect animations that alters the gun model which this doesn't.

are there any upcoming tournaments in pro valorant? I want to know whether they may drop new torunaments skins. Also I am torn with this bundle, on one hand I am looking for good knife for so long and I always buy knives in bundles so this might be a good one, but I really enjoy playing with valliant hero vandal and I plan to buy it (for now I play my friend's valliant vandal), but this kuronami also looks sick. From sherif I play with neo frontier, marshall - sovereign, spectre - either rgx or recon. So I got skins for these guns, but man they look nice xD I really dont know what to do

Their paying scandal only works because most of our bundles now are like 120$ (AUD) and now they're upping it. We look at the latest bundles and compare, realizing that it's only a few bucks higher. it went from 1775-2175-2375. The difference between them all small but the difference from 1775 to 2375 is 600 and it will keep increasing even until it's as much as a battle pass. But you look at the start of gaming like lol, and most skins were 0-10 dollars and dota skins are like 3 cents.

i think valorant should add weather at map such as snow at icebox, sandstorm at bind and rain at any other map. At icebox, we can have footprint traces at the snow, or blur vision of sand in bind etc

Personally I don’t think it’s too too overpriced , yes it is expensive don’t get me wrong , it’s around 250-300 myr ( 70usd) where I’m at , and it’s literally 10% of the average minimum wage here lmao. But I don’t buy all the bundles that comes out , so I’d say for the amount of time I spent on this game , buying a bundle or two per year isn’t that bad if you think about it

no, this bundle costs more than rm300. i bought overdrive, it cost me rm300 from codashop, and it was 8700. if the price is 9500, you're looking to spend at least rm400, which is extremely expensive for some game aesthetics.

The problem I have with those prices aren't the fact that they're this expensive, I'm actually kind of ok with this price, but the fact that I have to buy like 160-200 radianite later on just to upgrade those skins makes me sick (50 dollars = 80 Radianite), and I'm not even including colors.

@@harknights3299battle passes give like 150 each, and it's not even enough for 1 bundle. they release new battle passes every ~2 months, and ~3 for the last act of an episode. they release new bundles every 2-3 weeks, and typically there will be more than 1 good bundle in ~2-3 months. that's not even accounting for if you buy skins outside of bundles either

the problem is, all of the skin collecors which add up to over 100k in the world will not listen and buy each good bundle for 100 dollars. meaning riot will make at least 1 mil everytime a new bundle drops. they wont stop.

Bruh now I feel bad for getting the overdrive bundle. I bought it just for the knife, and I still dunno if I regret it or not. The only other skin that I use from overdrive is the sheriff. Vandal is meh, I have other better options. Stinger and bucky are good but well who uses those anyway. Meanwhile this kurunami has a sheriff and marshal, my go to eco weapon. Vandal is just clean, and a spectre on top which is another half buy round weapon. All weapon are "good" value. Knife is good value. So I might.... maybe.... probably..... most definitely go for this bundle as well.
