I seen Mario dedivonovic unveil this powder when it launched and it is only. Used to set the high points of the face where u would highlight. Use the regular powder for under the eyes and baking etc

Majority of the time I am the same shade as you and I have a hard time picking out shades with laura foundations. I went the other day and picked up a sample of bisque but when I got home and swatched it on my face it looked like it pulled pink as I feel like lost of their foundations do. Just one of those brands I can’t find a perfect match

I have tried this foundation and LOVE IT!! my tip: use a brush and then pat down with a beauty blender for a PERFECT finish. its not too tacky and dries down to a semi tacky way. never use the glow powder as a setting powder - its more like a highlighter. use a finishing powder though so more transfer resistance. and oh yeah i work 10 hrs everyday and this STAYS PUT so very long wearing!!

Esme - i use the laura mercier translucent powder (there’s a mini size that is less expensive) for setting the face and the elf poreless putty primer (the dupe for tatcha’s silk canvas) and it works like a dream! also just to note you don’t need to always use a powder to set ur face, i use it under my eyes to keep my concealer on longer cause God knows i need it to cover these bags under my eyes! if you want something good but from the drugstore i would recommend the maybelline fit me loose powder- i’ve used it and its really good & mattifying so i usually follow up with a setting spray. hope this helps!
