The drum sample used in this is the "Amen break". It's a classic Drum n' Bass/Jungle loop. Another demo on this release uses the "Skull Snaps break", another classic sample from Hip Hop and Electronica, which they also used on "Cure for the Itch"

This is the first reaction to this song I've seen where nobody talked about how great Chester sounded in the song, only to get roasted in the comments because Chester doesn't appear on this track at all.

Listen to the chorus lyrics: "Heard the screaming in my dreaming every night I awake and I'm still mistaking you for right, broke myself and hoped I still could save some pace now I'm floating and controlling in this state of grace." @@darkphantom5681 No they can't film a music video with all the members. However, many music videos, even for bands with all members living, are just a bunch of clips from their concerts.

@@bartonbagnes4605 true because they did the exact thing you said with Lost, the videos all after that is AI generated. But again reusing the same clips would make it more repetitive than what you describe. It’s just a visualization. I don’t think you need a whole video to showcase a demo.

As much as I would love music videos for these songs, I just don’t see it as important for a simple unreleased track, not to mention it would take a shit ton of time for all of the song’s music videos to be recorded and processed.

Linkin Park aren't metal. Their genre was alternative hip hop. At least until their third album, when they started to leave genre behind entirely.

@@ed_geins_hobbyjol3k559 Not in reality, no. Metal instrumentals consist of guitar, drums, and bass. Hip hop consists of samples, loops, synths, drum machines, keys, MPCs, turntables, etc. That's what LP based their music around. Every song began as a hip hop beat.
