I was love your utube! You have so much knowledge to teach others. When I heard you say the snippet about your hubbies stress test……. I can relate! That mix up about the appointment, is what we call Devine intervention. Having a stress test when your blood pressure is up sounds like, we’ll God intervened! Many blessings.

Turn Bluetooth off on your PHONE, then you don't need to worry about the speaker box thing. Yes, they still make the gum. I like the old brand Beechams, it had a nice flavor. Now THAT is an old brand of gum!.

I've made this pattern before and I LOVE how the sleeve is made (which I also added inches to the sleeve! )I followed Vivmom's suggestion and used a decor fabric and it turned out fabulous. I made two --sleeves and sleeveless. A GREAT pattern! Did you put on the pockets? Thanks for showing your mess. A huge undertaking. I have the same appliance garage- a great idea at the time but painful when the counters have to be redone.

First of all your hair doesn’t look bad. I am your age and you look so much younger than me, and I love your energy. I would use the buttons I like, not what someone else likes. If you use a blue button I would do the buttonhole in the same color. I, also, spend a lot of my time deciding on small items like buttons etc. have a good week!

I loved Vogue patterns. I sewed dress for my daughters when they were young using Vogue. I made matching holiday dresses for myself and my daughters a few times years ago. Oh, you mentioned georgette, I love it for blouses.

Joy I am sorry Jerry is having these health issues. Can be so scary and stressful! But I think it was the Lord’s doing that the machine broke and Jerry couldn’t have the test with his blood pressure being so high. I will keep you both in my prayers. ❤️

I ended up purchasing an air purifier because of the sneezing and runny nose. (My sister, who works in a fabric store, says it is from chemicals on fabric.)I feel it has helped. My favorite gums from the 60's were Teaberry, Clove, or Beeman's. We picked blueberries to earn money in the summer and chewed lots of gum...so we wouldn't eat our profits.🤣

I am supposed to wear support stocking (knee highs) too. Mine have zippers on them, easy to fry on/off. Toeless type. I forget to wear them. I stood on my feet 5 plus hours while working at the Christmas Tree Shops. I was also told to put my feet up, but, also do walking too. Contradictory I know the md told me.

Love, love, love your videos! Ive been really sick for the last month and i get really sad when that happens but i just watched you and i smiled and laughed all the way through it. Thank you so much for that. I'm 63 but with all my health issues i feel soooo much older than you. I'm working on giving up sugar and excess carbs. 1 week down lots more to go but the Lord is answering my prayers. I would appreciate your prayers also. You are a great inspiration I'm believing I'll be as energetic as you soon . I dont know if you've ever watch Dr. Ben Bikman but he's very informative about health things. Also i had sinus surgery in June that went great but i use a compounded MOMETASONE powder in my sinus saline washes that helps my allergies so much. No flonase anymore! Praying Jerry's bp problems resolve soon. I love when God intervenes and protects us. Also praying for your leg surgery stops your swelling problems. Love when you talk to us like you can hear us and love all the chatting, tutorials, helpful hints especially about trying on stuff and picking out buttons etc. Details are soooo important. Always love seeing your beautiful home and hearing about your life and remodeling issues. When you have health issues and not the best relationship with your kids your world gets very small. Thanks for being part of mine and making it larger and a lot more fun. You are a delight and an encouragement

I found Butterick to be small sized years ago. I don’t see clothing much for years. Mostly piece/quilt.

It’s a good thing you have the coach to be able to make meals in. Your house is wreck now but it will be worth it. My sewing is halted right now as most of it is packed away for our trip to go Florida to see the grandchildren this coming Sunday. Did I tell you I learned how to line a sleeveless dress my first time. I love lined dresses for church. It just makes getting ready so much easier. I’ve got 2 shift dresses and a top to work on while I’m down in Florida. I think lining is easier than facings. Facings & I don’t get along very well with. I’ll be praying Jerry can get his blood pressure under control

My Blood spiked high when I was in pain. I was told I could have a stroke. Luckily, I was in the hospital waiting to get an injection in my Lower back. My bp kept rising. They helped me get my bp down.

Joy, please tell us more about the lighting and magnifier that you have on your jewelry table. I’ve been reworking my jewelry making station and I need more light to start. Since findings and other materials also seem to be much smaller now than they used to be, I also need something to magnify the piece while I’m working on it. 😅. Thanks so much!

Joy, you can use a silver or gold or bronze sharpie to write on your cord. Gray won’t work they have to be the metallic ones.
