My 4 and a half years old son can drive a stock Xmaxx under my supervision with no issues. He's been driving for a year by himself 🤣. I got the Flux MT today at the LHS in the US for $209 👍

G'day everyone just letting all rc fans and users that Crazy Hobbies are One Awesome Store - walk in off the street or find them on line and even on Ebay and sometimes Ebay has a 15-20% off sale and can get you a really cool and expensive RC for much cheaper also i have found dealing with Oscar ,Johnny or Angus and there all great guys to help as are all the other staff of Crazy Hobbies 10/10 all round from me and ive bought a shed load of rc from these guys - Thanks Oscar for another great Purchase my friend :-))

These are great value for money from what I've seen, cheap enough for a beginner and not to go too fast, but fast enough and tough enough to do some mild bashing and have fun.

Thanks for the great info. In regards to the MT and XT being the same, is it just the body and wheels that are different? Is there a difference in ride height and this only because of setup rather than parts? If I buy one of them, can I convert it into the other by getting a new body shell (and wheels if I wanted) and then just adjust the ride height and then it is exactly the same as the other one?

Wheels&tires, body and wingmount. Every thing else same same, Ride height is the same.

not on the brush-less version , it will go into lipo cut off mode also the car will stutter.

No need to buy reinforced bearing , you could have hit it on a bad angle or they could have been bad from factory , just buy original you will be fine.

seems like a good enough RC for the price point. Every time i have taken it for a mild bashing it has had issues though, nothing has snapped or bent. nice and tough in that regard but build quality has let me down so far, not being setup well enough from factory i think may be an issue. poor gear mesh and insufficiently torqued components ect.... all that being said i am thinking of buying another one.

Okay guys, just got this in the UK. I was intending to run 3S but after reading the receiver and fan instructions, the fan can't cope with 3S! Need to upgrade the fan to a 12V from the stock 5V. A bit gutted... It's the same as the Redcat Dukono Pro and the HSP Wolverine brushless from what I can tell. Speed testers are getting 30-34 MPH 2S and 45MPH 3S!

Hi Dominic, Have you ran the car on 3s , have you had any issues with the fan we have sold a few we have no issues with the fan on 3s.

@@crazyhobbies4695 No, to be fair I'm on 2S and finding it fast enough. Is does have 3S plastered all over the box so you'd think it could take it. I'll upgrade if my neighbor gets his Rustler VXL! The winter is closing in for the UK so I'm looking for ideas for a 1/18 rc for indoors now!

Haha, not sure you understand the word 'identical' 😂 'The MT and XT are identical except the body, the wheels, and no wing on the MT'. I think the word you want is 'similar' 😉 Great review though 👍

Jesus why did they squash it up so small, it could be way wider n bit longer. The motor wires are touching, and the motor and esc have probably 5mm. Gonne heat each other up.

If only we all knew before buying them that they are absolute trash, ive lost count the amount of parts that I have replaced now, one of them being a lower arm after it snapped when the car hit the floor from a wheelie. They are a very expensive paper weight

Completely different machines. There are many many upgrades on the slightly smaller Strada vehicles. If only they came with center diffs, I'd order one.

The fact that many of us haven’t been able to find any spare axles, cvd’s, and turnbuckles for the last two months is complete rubbish! Otherwise the vehicle is awesome.
