I do think the styling works better here than in the EQSs, I don't think they look terrible. On the range I'd certainly prefer it to be more accurate, but underpromise and overdeliver isn't bad necessarily. Just needs to be closer.

Tesla and Rivian do a much more costly and rigorous EPA test than most other manufacturers in order to get the highest ratings possible. Most other OEMs don't take that route and choose to do a cheaper testing cycle and settle for more conservative EPA ratings.

Shop the 500, then compare it to the 350 4matic with the acceleration increase. The lowest trim performance is solid, the boost makes it more than acceptable. Try adding the one time purchase cost during negotiations with your dealer and avoid paying $60/mo in perpetuity.

I truly think that Mercedes is definitely succeeding with their EVs. Even if the EQS sedan looks terrible, every single EV they have has been selling great and performing well.

I have a new EV6 GT and EPA range is 206 and I have got consistently around 300 miles per full charge.. it does appear underrated per your suspicion.

Both the eqe and eqe SUV have better proportions and are better looking than both of the eqs models ;( but I love the hyper screen from the s models. When it comes to range I think the germans like to underpromise and overdeliver

the EPA lets the manufacturers choose the range out of 5 outcomes. It's not on the EPA, it's on the manufacturers. Tesla always chooses the longest range and other legacy manu's pick low or middle of the road.

2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE500 4MATIC Electric SUV!

This guy clearly has no understanding of how EPA ratings work for EVs. Also, an EVs self-reported (via dashboard, UI, or whatever) range is notoriously unreliable. Unless he's charging to 100%, resetting the trip odometer, and then checking again when it's near zero charge, and doing the hard math based on battery size, etc... you can't believe anything the vehicle is telling you about range or energy consumption

motorization is not going in the direction it should, i definitley prefer a combustion engine car

I've been driving an EQE SUV loaner while my EQS SUV gets repaired. Neither one is good with bumpy roads / pot holes. You WILL feel the bumps. The suspension is stiff even in comfort mode! The EQS's massaging seats features a weak massage. So if you're looking for a plush ride and with a good deep quality massage, look elsewhere. Oh, and I was firmly told by Mercedes Benz staff that if I switch the original air suspension to a more plush after-market one, it will void the 4 year warranty.

I agree, this thing is absolutely hideous.
