Our German friend Matthias Lutz explains the newest carbon brush technology to create the longest lasting angle grinders in the world!
Brushless corded grinders from other well-known manufacturers have been getting a lot of attention over the past couple years. Two things to keep in mind with the current brushless corded grinders on the market is that 1) You cannot service the tools as they are a sealed unit. (Something as simple as changing a cord is next to impossible.) 2) The current technology in AC brushless grinders is not compatible with the power generated by some welders' or generators’ whereas brushed grinders have no issue.
Because Metabo knows how important it is for our customers to be able to service tools and or replace parts from time to time, Metabo continues to improve on the good "old" fashioned brushed tools. But the M-Brush technology is something only offered by Metabo!
