I love that the sockets don’t roll. But yeah, a touch sloppy in the fit. Wish that Tone flex head locked I wish I liked the Milwaukee ratchets more than I do. Ideally, screws/bolts should enter on the back of the ratchet and thread into the cover plate. Then if threads are stripped, it’s easy to just change out the plate. Also now I want to convert one of my 1/4” Milwaukees lol

Not a lot of videos on the ratchets, but this was a really nice comparison. I have a snap on dual 80, a gear wrench 84 tooth, and a nice proto 1/4 ratchet. I’m ordering a Milwaukee soon. All of my impact sockets and tool storage is Milwaukee. I’m excited to see how their ratchets compare and get my hands on one. Thank you for this video!

I wish it wasn’t a parts store brand… but the power torque stubby 3/8 that you can attach extensions to the handle and make a custom length ratchet is a pretty great idea I might have to pick up. Or if there’s an American version someone can tell me of I’d appreciate it

I've been waiting a year for the stubby and extended ratchet sets to go on sale and they never do. I might have to pull the trigger this year on sale or not. They look great and I love my Milwaukee socket sets! Edit: In regards to the looseness of the sockets I don't experience that problem when using their sockets with their ratchets. The fit and overall feel is tight enough that for me it has no effect when using them. If i want the tightest fit maybe I would consider getting some Koken ratchets but at that point we're just being neat picky and we're going to pay for that tighter fit.

Do you know if that flex head nepros fits in the Milwaukee pack out case. Milwaukee sells the pack out case by itself I’m thinking of picking it up and filling it up with nepros everything.

That I don’t know.. I have a small case for the Milwaukee 1/4” set and it fits quite snug with everything, so chances of everything fitting might be slim..

ABD ABD ABD!!! Careful. Someone might accuse you of "copying" man caver for swapping anvils. 🤣🤣 Which I don't understand for a power tool. Ummm, use an adapter. For tight spaces using stubby ratchets, makes MUCH more sense. Cheers 🍻 and God bless! 😁

Unfortunately no, this new 3/8 is a compact head which happens to be the same size as the 1/4

Does that tiny 3/8 conversion really have use during your daily work? It’s just a gimmick tool right? I like the idea though

Daily, no, you can get by without it. It’s good for certain situations where you need it in a tight spot and you want to start a fastener or a sensor that needs a large socket. 1/4” goes up to 14-15mm, but with a 3/8” you can use larger sockets, and with a compact stubby ratchet you can get into a tight spot a lot easier versus a full-size stubby ratchet

I actually want to swap that stuby 3/8 into the long handle 1/4. The thin profile will be good for tight spaces.

Heat gun! 😅 hmm, I don’t remember what the layout was on those. Every company packaging has a different way of doing it. Usually there’s a little space where you could take a pair of wire cutters to snip it out..
