I really like the facts that I don’t have to stop vacuuming when the battery dies, I can just grab another charged battery and go again. The other stick vacs have to be put on the charger because of the onboard battery

I think like alot of Milwaukee tools the Gen 2 or 3 version of this tool will be the one to own. It's not terrible but it lacks some basic features dedicated vacuum manufacturers have on their models with carpet height adjust being the big miss here. Also alot of premium vacuums now don't solely use bristle beater brushes anymore but use silicone fins as well. Apparently it works better. Thanks for the review, your review is the best one on this vacuum on KZfaq

I wish the Milwaukee would work on carpet. Sadly, It will not work in most "home" environments. It ONLY works on concrete, wood, flat commercial/hotel carpet. It does not work on a "normal" household carpet. It sucks down, and the light turns red and won't move. I expect the GEN 2 to work on carpet AND be about 3-4 inches longer. I wish Milwaukee could get more of their GEN 1 tools right. Ugh.

@rowankeltizar5961 Жыл бұрын
@@billybrownstar I consider it to be a gen 2 upgrade to this tool: 0082-20. The main gripes I had with the "mini-vac" as we called it on the jobsite is the filter getting loose after a while and spewing dust everywhere, the switch getting stuck, and the lack of power due to the filter getting clogged up. The attachments were pretty lackluster as well. Seems like they addressed those issues here.

You would never use a Dyson vacuum on a job site. But you would use the Milwaukee. And the Milwaukee is also capable to do home vacuuming too. The Dyson or any house vacuum would not withstand jobsite work

Great video brother.... however I'm gonna tell ya what I don't like instead of what I do like , and there is a lot to like about this vacuum. After having it for awhile now one thing that drives me nuts is the small area of the hepa filter and the foam that goes in front of it. The foam catches a lot however a lot gets to the hepa resulting in....the red light coming on......there is no banging this hepa filter against something hard to clean like the wet/dry vac. Other than that I agree with you , this is the best battery operated vac that I've owned for small jobsite use. It also seems a little battery hungry when run on high all of the time. Therefore , this is just my observation so don't beat me up in the comments. I feel I get better runtimes with the 9ah than the 8ah or the 12ah. After all , the 9.ah was designed for the ope stuff which is meant to be run for long periods of time....the herbs and spices in those cells match up well to this vac. I could be wrong , just my observation

I have a full truck of Milwaukee Tools and I had such high expectations for this vacuum but.... The thing about this vacuum is that, it is heavy, and I feel the weight is distributed poorly with most of the weight near the top, it gets even heavier with the battery. When I use it I just feel like I am lifting the whole weigh of the vaccum all the time, instead of being able to easily push it around.

The Backpack Vacuum had a lot f potential, but I have it and it’s terrible for carpets and just fair on bare floors. It seems powerful at first, but it get pretty weak as soon as the filter get dirty and it’s kind of awkward if it’s not on your back. Your better off one of the regular wet / dry vacuums and if you need something for carpets this one makes the most sense. If the Backpack Vacuum had more power and a brushed carpet attachment it could of been a much more complete vacuum.

Garbage product because its too limited on what you can use it on. Should be about time for them to release a gen2.
