XSunacX Not my dream car. Minis are hideous since is now owned by BMW in my opinion. Even a Volkswagen and their owners looks better than this. Mercedes S-Class looks far better than a Mini too. Even if i could afford a Mini, i'd still wait and buy a Skoda Octavia than this hideous box on wheels

XSunacX a fiesta st150/200 would be a far better choice than this. The new Minis are fun only on one place, Country lanes/twisty roads. In town there steering is far to heave, makes it feel larger than a saloon, and they are horrid on the motorway. A totally crap car, that sells to middle-class middle age women "cos the Mrs Jones has one". Not to mention they are way overpriced. And in entry form super cheap feeling inside.

Sam Wayne Just avoid over personalising. Any way there will probably be loads of sellers online selling generic, aftermarket replacements for the personalised parts.

You retrofit the personalised parts yourself so the simple solution is to do the exact opposite and swap back to the parts the car came with. its obviously not permanent...

I mean for Britons the Union Jack theme on the minis is probably cool but other people might don´t really like it. I can´t imagine, that a Briton would like to drive a Renault with french flags everywhere or a BMW with german flags all over the place

Yep i´m not from nearby but i wouldn´t want any flags on my countrymens cars either. It has nothing to do with my nationality. I just think it´s not very desirable for a foreigner if the car manufacturers do that. In case you´re right, that every country gets a mini with their own flag it wouldn´t bother me too much

Free4Noob The only reason why there’s a United Kingdom flag on the mini was that BMW bought mini from the U.K. and it’s just paying respect to its heritage. BMW would say no to all the flags because there are over 200 of them and it would definitely be problematic.

Free4Noob What you said is very true here in Northern Ireland. We have people who identify as British, Northern Irish and Irish. Those who identify as Irish wouldn't want to buy a car with a union flag on it. Also, if you parked this car in an area, where many of the residents identify as Irish, you very well might get your car vandalised.

LED light rings which don't look like horseshoes with all the luck run out... that's an improvement! Union Jack on the tail lights... yeah, a bit "too." New badge that collects bug splat between the prongs, that's a feature I didn't know I had been missing. The options which MINI needs most are smaller wheels and bigger tires for a more comfortable ride, an engine which instills a sense of reliability, and interior color choices beyond Black and Prison Pallor White. Cognac/Tan interior with wood dash... ;)

I got a "classic" 2020 model... 136hp but the torque makes it enough to go . And brilliant milage. I got the 5dr. BRG/ black roof and stripes.

Josh Bacon you’re right it is fast... if this was a 1980 maybe. A 6 second 0-60 time and 14.3 second quarter mile time is sedan performance. Priced like premium car but performance of an economy car. I mean 6 seconds is not exactly slow but for such a small car it should be at least 5 or less. A c43 is sub 5 second and that’s just a middle of a pack c class (not exactly a light small sporty car).

It's all good, tail lights are fab but would of liked a new dash. Fuel gauge instead of the lights (which look like they forgot and added later).

I don’t care if the rear-lights are “Brexity” but they do look really tacky in my opinion. The customisable name on the trim is a nice idea although eventually you’ll get people buying used cars with some random previous owners name plastered all over the front wings and interior trim.

i just bought a mini for just a little over 6 months and it already has drivetrain malfunction. Sent to the dealer for repair and it's been over a week now. They said they found debris in the engine. they have to rebuild the whole engine. German cars are just that "reliable".

Fun until something breaks and many things have broken on our Mini. Look up Mini High Pressure Fuel Pump and how the price increased 4 times in a short period of time. Was this done when Mini\BMW realized this part was faulty to exploit their customers? Only they can answer that but the optics are not so favorable. Current price of this in Canada to have this installed at Mini- Parts, Labour and taxes is somewhere around $2600 approximately.

Adam : RKsnoozer yeah it will be many months. I haven’t heard about this until now and seeing as the price hasn’t been released I am going to assume it will start coming out in March with the new reg or September time. BMW announce things way too early usually.

FindMate... is what's naff! We all got them with our MINI Countrymans (per the MINI fora), and every last one of us chucked it in the rubbish bin. It's completely worthless. I think MINI felt guilty for not giving us the X1's heated steering wheel and rear seat back release levers in the boot, and FindMate was our consolation prize.

Uk lights to cheesy, almost up there with logo puddle lights. Was in the mini garage last summer and the guy said you can only have logo puddle lights or none. It was a deal breaker. Not that I cared I don't like minis at all.

Do you really buy a car with the intention to sell it? Use and enjoy it for a few years and then it will be worthless anyway. It's not like selling it for a few grand is gonna make that much of a difference.
