The Story of 'The Crow' has been told 30 years ago and it was even adapted into a comic-series. It's not that the story is unknown. Despite that, they really show to much in the trailer - just like in about nearly every trailer nowadays. That's the reason, I stop any trailer after 60 seconds. That's enough time to get a good impression - if the cutter, director or studio did a good job. If they weren't able to convince me, there's a good chance, that they won't be able to do better in about 100 or 120 minutes. 🤷‍♂️

In fact, no. While there have been numerous *sequels* to the original featuring different characters in derivative stories, and there was a single season TV series that served as a *retelling* of the 1994 movie, this is the first time that there has been an actual cinematic remake.

Since there have been thousands of good or great movies, why do you care about remakes? You don't have to see them. If you're capable of using movie-databases - you'll be able to watch enough great motion pictures for the rest of your life. It's okay to be disappointed when new movies weren't able to thrill, grab, drag you into them, like others had done earlier. There's no need for hatred or hatespeech. Even you should realisiert, that not every single movie nowadays sucks. There have been many good motion pictures since the last 20 years. Of course, that's not to be said abaout each & every genre, but in total. So wouldn't it be better to watch out for the new pearls, sprach and enjoy the old gems and keep movies a positive part of your personal entertainment?
