Florida’s best mountain bike park just got a new flow trail. Alafia River State Park newest mtb trail is a must ride. The trail crew has been hard at work on all the trails and there's plenty of fun to be had!

Just went here for the first time today for hiking. Never really done mountain biking before but next time I go I'll bring my bike and give the easy trails a shot. Nice video

You showed pretty much every feature I’m working towards conquering. Gap on snake drop ✔️, been rolling that drop on moonscape.3:01 (best closeups of this I’ve seen). That drop on roller coaster next to the speed drop will be awhile. This video will be helpful. Thanks!

That gap at the Snake Jump is much better now. And it's not a roller and there's a sign there that says not to roll it. LOL. And if you are by yourself you should ride down the step up and up the wooden roller. :)

I saw several people roll it while I was there. I was standing at the top when the First Lady rolled it. I thought she was gonna die!😃 but it was really smooth and a few other people followed after her.

Alafia, Boyette and even Carter Rd are some of the most overlooked trail systems in the states. As someone that lived in Valrico for 30 years and now lives in Pisgah Forrest I can assure you some of the best riders are Floridians, even here in the mountains.

This was such a great video. That first section of moonscape is so great! Lost Meadow might just be my favorite "flow" trail in all of Florida. And rollercoaster... That first drop after the snake jump... One day I'll hit. I can do the drop into scorpion all day, but that drop before it. I just cannot get it in my head that it's even possible. Great to see you back at our favorite trails!

What do you think the best mtn bike full sus is for Florida? Under 3k?

I would say pretty much anything in that 130mm rear and 140mm front travel is the best. Full 27.5 or a mullet set-up, full 29 is overkill unless you are over 6ft tall. Don’t really need carbon frame so that would keep your price down. You could probably find a really nice used bike now for that price. If I was only going to ride in Florida and not travel. I would own a Santa Cruz 5010. I had one 6 years ago and it was the best florida bike hands down!!
