Altenew folders have really become a favorite for me except they have so many florals! But my 2 favorite ever are from there. And I do wish everyone made bigger folders and all 3D.

Aren’t the mica sprays amazing! I’ve been using them on fall cards lately & the colors are just stunning. I have the distress crayons but haven’t tried them yet, hopefully soon. Always love these videos Rebecca. You have so many good ideas for using the products you show, & even simple backgrounds you turn into wonderful cards. Thank you for sharing so much with us. 🙂

Thank you so much, Michelle! You know what's funny? I share the office with my husband and he has work zoom conference calls and at first he used to put up a backdrop, but then when he didn't people were always commenting on the background saying it was so colorful and happy! One of his co-workers even asked him what Lunar Paste was the other day!! LOL! I am in love with everything Ranger is coming out with these days! So many amazing colors and easy ways to apply color and shine! Hope your day is fabulous too!

Hi Rebecca! Boy you always get me wanting to buy all sorts of things in those same colors! Lol oddly enough, I don’t like a lot of shimmer. I just use the tsukineko spray when I want it. I wanted to pass along a tip. When using embossing powder, I was told by someone with a channel that uses almost solely embossing powders for amazing techniques and works for wow as a designer. She is the one who said if you heat the powder from the top, that’s when you get those skips. She recommends always heating from underneath. Occasionally after it starts to melt, depending on her technique she’ll go ontop. Thought maybe you could try that too .

I love the Christmas Word embossing folder, I haven’t seen that before - also the gingham one! You give so many ideas on how to use these craft items and it’s much appreciated. I do enjoy the very end of your videos which I call outtake’s! ❤😊

The mica sprays are AMAZING! I can't get over how much color and shine you get from just a few spritzes! I had tried the original Distress Crayons YEARS ago, but these are SO creamy and the pearlescence is incredible!! Thanks for watching!

All the cards are so cute, but the Christmas card is my favorite! I really like, and use a lot of the enamel dots! I don’t see many card makers use them.

To see everyone spray that mica spray all over the card truly gives me a little panic feeling! But they always turn out great! I’m so scared of sprays! I just bought some oxides too.

My biggest fear with sprays in videos is that it is going to get everywhere because spraying in a box does not present a good clip lol! So i end up doing a lot of cleaning afterward.

Thank you so much, Christy! The Distress Crayons were kind of a last minute add for me too. Years ago I tried the first version of Distress Crayons which did not have pearlescence, but these are AMAZING. So smooth and creamy and the shine is fabulous!

@@RebeccaKeppel This Monday? I can’t wait! Ii have to say I just spent tons of money all on credit last year and this year, to get supplies because I just never could. When I was starting I was a single mom who owned a house and had a baby. Then at 45 car accident ended up costing my leg, my job, my friends, everything and now I’m on disability and social security 20 years too early which means lots less money. I like the colors you like. I love pink coral and aqua with a nice banana yellow most. I bought so many things just because someone made a great card with it and I didn’t even know my style! Then I wanted out of stampin up and bought one set of SSS Pawsitively inks, a small spring fling of CP then decided to do CP and bought the whole party set! I still need the spa and neutrals and reinkers and I have inks coming out of the cracks! I also just bought versa fine clair which I’ll never regret as tgey stamp the most perfect images( however, they don’t have our colors and only 25- I got 15 and have the black. I don’t want to make anymore mistakes. I bought altenew watercolors on sale and I KNOW I’m never going to watercolor! So I’m sending those back if it’s not too late. I used to use watercolor pencils and loved them so the new Tim Holtz look interesting but I think the crayons or gelatos would go further? You could paint with them and do backgrounds and stencils. I’m so confused! I have a drawer of paste I hope to get to and just bought some oxide sprays. But I need help on what medium I’ll use best to color with. SSS has 25% of Tim’s watercolor pencils and my internets down! Sign from God I think Idid get your link for your must have supplies and girl you had me crackin up as I kept scrolling and scrolling and scrolling! I thought, I’ll never be able to own 1/10th of your must have supplies!!! LOLHysterically!🤣

Thanks for the video. How is the grit paste different from other pastes? Just texture?

I don't own a ton of the Tim Holtz pastes, so I can only describe this one. It is VERY textured. Gritty is a great way to describe it. Super chunky but yet still easy to swipe on the cardstock if that makes sense. So it dries slightly dimensional because of the grit. It has a glittery hint to it but also dries somewhat clear. Definitely clearer than what you see coming out of the jar as I apply it to that green cardstock. Sorry, I am not sure that is super helpful if you are looking for a comparison to other Tim Holtz pastes lol. The only other pastes I use a lot are the Simon Hurley Lunar Paste which are so different since they are buttery and smooth.

Do you have to use hairspray or something to seal the mica stain, so the glitter don’t come off when it’s rubbed? Thanks

No! I don't know how but the glitter or mica or whatever it is that makes it shiny is so fine and if you shake the bottle side to side so it is evenly distributed it just stays put once it is dry! Miracle stuff in a bottle, truly!!

@@dimorgan08 What kind of paper are you using? Mine sunk right in and didn't rub off within a very short period of time once it was dry to touch.

I’ve found if you get big globs of mica it can rub off. But if I have just a fine mist of it, it stays in place. I’m sure you could use a workable fixative or acrylic sealer over it if you wanted to.
