Given the increasingly conservative nature of public media, we need for someone with really deep pockets to buy a failing university in New England in the U.S. and reincorporate it as Miskatonic University following the path laid out by brother John Michael Greer in his "Weird of Hali" books. I'm not kidding about this at all! Preferably one in a seacoast town.

I also noticed this change to Amazon a few weeks ago. To reveal the magical related categories, you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the Religion & Spiritually page and click "See all". Then the Occult & Paranormal and New Age & Spirituality filters will appear.

Amazon is the last place that you should be ordering books from, anyhow. Especially now. From the publisher, or a local bookstore would be the better choice. Failing that, theres a lot of small magic shops online, that could use your money more than Amazon.

The radicalisation of Christianity in America is a seriously worrying development. I'm quite shocked to see it so plainly on Amazon, and also worried for anyone in the States who isn't fitting into this, becoming, expected 'norm'. On a lighter note, Jinn Sorcery in paperback... Excellent! The out of print copies are garnering a heap of money. Thank you so much for the update 🙏.

@@sc-b-dl5pi Any other organized religion would have organized much sooner, and would have abandoned pretenses to morality. We are lucky and should consider ourselves such that we live within a Christian majority, and though America isn’t ruled by Christians, it is 100% more favorable to our continued survival that Christianity remain the cultural norm in America. If it were Islam, I’d be dead or enslaved. If it were pagans, I’d be dead or enslaved. If it were atheists, I’d be dead or enslaved. Hard lives make hard men, I think our lives have been made so easy and our various ways of life so respected by easy going people who wish to live and let live, that we forget that the alternative to their admittedly soft-hearted values isn’t our values, it’s the values of even worse tyrants.

Books by Morgan Daimler on Pagan Portals are pretty good. Pagan Portals are good for people studying folk witchcraft. Not so much for those who want Ceremonial, Angelic or Goetic magick

I've noticed some of my chat gpt research will now give me responses that my searches go against their rules, when its basic questions about the history of magic in some cultures. Nothing too occulted, just their spiritual practices. Its become more and more conservative as time has gone on. Google has become the same way, and even searches i could find 6 or 3 months ago are no longer findable

In US Amazon, under Religion and Spirituality, click Occult and Paranormal, then the specialties are listed including Hermeticism, Magic Studies, Occultism, etc.

In your video description, the US Amazon link for Pagan Portals: Spellcraft and Spellwork goes to Song of the Dark Man: Father of Witches, Lord of the Crossroads instead. (I'm sure that's also a great book...it's just not the one you intended to link to!) Feel free to delete this comment after you correct the link...particularly if this is some weird digital anomaly that is only making my browser go to the page for the other book--stranger things have happened! :)

Im going to say the categories and structure has never changed since ive been paying attention and thats been 20 years.. Wicca is still found in new age and spirituality and there are still magic studies occultism hermeticism ect

@@FoolishFishBooks Not on my end. No more than before. This is what I'm saying. There are still as many steps to locate the list. And I look through the lists every couple weeks to find new titles. They have always been found under occult and paranormal which has always been under religion and spirituality and I have always had to click 5 links to look up the Magic Studies category and that never been different since I have been buying from Amazon for the last 20 years.

If not, it has simply not yet rolled out to your account, and I would urge you to keep an eye on this over the next few days as the change is fully rolled out across all accounts.

I do have 2 of the books about water but I have heard from scientists saying his work is fake. I'm not sure to believe them or not, if they just said the words or said the words with energy/emotion. I have been seeing MONAD ads on IG for about a month or so. It looks somewhat interesting. I thought it was a deck at first lol I love the artwork..it would be cool if they made a deck too with the same art style. I would like to get it since it's ancient Greece related. Come on Amazon US, why did you change??!? You were perfect in the categories. That Pagan Portals book made me think what IS the difference between Spellcrafting and Spellwork??? Is Spellcrafting like the planning out phase of the spell and performing the spell is the Spellwork? D.J. Conway is usually the go to for dragon magick. I'm kind of surprised that you didn't know Pagan Portals existed. I was wondering if you were going to show Cave of Sybil 😂 I love Tiera May's Ritual Tarot so I backed this oracle.
