I don't if the being that came to me is the HGA, but it made me feel so loved and was so compassionate with my incredible suffering at that time that it actually kept me going despite my desire to end it all. It also answered 2 questions that I had and the experience was so beautiful and transformative that everytime I am in the pits, I go back to that experience to remind me how loved I am.

Done the poetry consecration, done like the commissioned consecration where you tell it what it will be, However I had initiated and had to doa consecration and I made a wand out of a beef bone and when I dressed it after consecration lights and the fan was flickering and acting funny

As always, very well put!! 7:40 got me thinking about something I've been asking my HGA for: 'May I become the way of my true will', which, in turn, makes me realize about the esoteric meaning in Jesus' words: 'I am the way, the truth and the life'... I think the best thing one can do regarding the HGA is just going for it!

Once again, thank you for your videos. This time, I must confess never having thought of doing this (I had first written "admit" but opted for the dramatic ring the word "confess" has to it). I seriously might try. (Again, nothing but my simple offering to the 'gods of algorythms' so they'd favour your channel some more). 😉

Totally identified with the aphantasia example. That happens to be my case, and I've been struggling with my magick practice precisely because of the "visualization language." Do you have any information about it? I'm tired of looking for cases or experiences like mine. Thank you, and great channel!

I have been a sofa magician for quite some time, it was just an interest and I did very few Magick in the past. Just happens that I converted to Umbanda, it's a magick, spiritual, Afro Amerindian Brazilian religion that has its own system and it has been a very powerful and transformative experience. Suddenly I was interested again im GOM books and here I am.

I think verb to be doesn't even exist in the Moroccan dialect,, when I say I am a teacher in Moroccan it translates to 'Ana ostad' 'I teacher' there are several verbs but be isn't in this language at all, u only have the pronoun, "kun" is told to mean be but actually it's more related to the future tense

How do we really separate mind from matter, apart from language? Can you have a perception without a perceiver, or vice-versa? There is not a "one path". There is simply one's path.

I don't collect cards. I have two Tarot decks that I use regularly, and I also have Josephine's Mystagogus for particularly magical situations, and I have this one. Since recording this video seven or eight months ago, this deck has become an integral part of my concise arsenal. I find it very useful and have used it successfully for important life decisions. It's a strong thumbs up from me.

@@FoolishFishBooks I bet this one is very straightforward as it is much in the vein of La Vera Sibilla (some of the cards are pretty much the same, I think there are only some missing) and I am probably going to bite the bullet and get it, I just need to find an EU based store to not pay customs because this deck is rather beautiful, I'm almost sure that the gilded edges will fade with shuffling and manipulation but it can't be helped if you're going to use it often.

I've no idea whether I've met my HGA, and certainly never done any rites to attempt contact; but what I do know is, I've long been aware of something that seems to "have my back". Some years ago while walking I looked up at the clouds and had a strong sense of something telling me things were going to get really awful - but it would be ok. Two months later, my world fell apart - but, it was, incredibly, ok - in fact, since then it's become more than ok, life now is amazing! I used to be part of a church ministry where some weird things happened, things I can't explain, and I still cherish those moments although I've long since left organised religion. Tarot has given me another strong sense of connection and that's as far as I need to go. For now. Thank you for the video.

I'm currently in a really crappy summer study program (the university hosting it omitted a lot of information and outright lied about some aspects) so I've spent the summer hungry, sleep deprived, and socially isolated. But, eight days into the program I had intense religious visions. I laughed when you mentioned people going through non self imposed tough times having spiritual experiences, because wow that's so true

I found this really useful. I find myself getting overwhelmed with all the information, but I have learned that structured learning isnt for me.. Im doing tarot and finding Im pretty good at it.. I am a new practitioner with it, but I have been pretty spot on with my own readings, and the odd one I have done for friends. Ive had many paranormal experiences yet wonder if my head is in the clouds with what I want/expect from magick & the occult.

I agree with 3d reality being a created projection of our inner beliefs and subconscious perceptions. This vid goes well with Dr. Joseph Murphy’s “Power of The Subconscious Mind”, and Neville Goddard’s “Feeling Is The Secret” lecture. Many practitioners would get a lot from looking into the work of these 2, as they complement a lot of what we do with Magick.

You fail to mention that Crowley said that calling the HGA the "higher self" was a blasphemy. Why? Because "higher" implies an imaginary goal--an illusion created by the initiate's expectations of themselves as opposed to the actual divine being one is trying to contact.

Why is everyone in such a rush to get to the 'One' the source of things, if all emanates from that source, then why do we strive to return? Shouldn't we be going the other way, continuing and enhancing the natural flow from spirit 'down' into reality, manifestation? Does that mean we could find a denser realm than the physical world, a hyper-reality ( lol, too far).
@FoolishFishBooks
@FoolishFishBooks 8 сағат бұрын
I don't think return SHOULD be the goal, but acknowledgement of the full structure sure helps to fully exist in all available levels, including the densest realm of which we should be custodians, not deniers.

I'd really love to see a video on the approaches to non-dualism in Vedanta and the comparisons to the K&C. If we're applying Yoga definitions to things, almost everything seems to focus on Bhakti when it comes to K&C and I've seen very little that would compare to the other methods (Karma, Raja, Jnana). There's probably a cultural reason for that in the Western world, but it would be nice to see some works on Jnana in Magick (as it applies to K&C).

I've felt confused reading the traditional texts on all these elaborate rituals because communication for me has always been gradual in the form of intuition, bursts of creative inspiration, or thoughts coming distinctly from "the outside" to advise (and sometimes scold) me. It feels like getting occasional glimpses behind a curtain, almost like an invitation and incentive to put more effort into achieving full communication someday and generally become a better person. This video came at a great time because I've felt confused and a bit discouraged by the rigid traditional descriptions (which I'm sure are still helpful to many people.)

Let go. Quiet your mind. Listen. Don't think. Don't fight. Don't try. Just be. Sometimes, distract your body (i.e. walk). Thats how I hear mine. It also helps to have a little THC to both let go and quiet my mind.

Contacting my (HG) Angel resonates with "The Imitation of Christ ", or indeed "The Cloud of Unknowing" as narrated by David Barnes. Both narrations are deeply devotional and "inflame" the meditative prayer process. Furthermore Van Morrison has encapsulated these sentiments in a contemporary musical art form in many of his compositions over the years... 🙏

Absolutely love this video, especially the last bit on the conditions required to reach out to our HGA. I like that you put parasitic influences, as that was what I thought my HGA was, until all sorts of cleansing, exorcistic verses does not get rid of her. I read your book Hidden Paths and must say it is one of the easiest and more enjoyable book I have read in a while. May I ask if the appendix was your HGA ritual? You should write a second book with the inclusion of these HGA tips as not many books out there said it quite easily and clearly as you.

It would be lovely if you would give me the appropriate credits at the end, if you decide to pass on my text (which I wrote a few weeks ago) Also, I'm German and just lazily translated this with deepl: Everything is now. Now is everything. Everything is here. Everything that is, which is, is All-One. Nothing is outside the All-One because it is everything that is. Nothing exists outside that which is all, because it is all. And everything is united in what everything is, as well as in itself. Since the All-one is all that exists, it is alone. Consciousness is because I am. The All is all one and aware of its being because I am aware of my being. There is no part that does not carry the whole within itself. Since the All-one is everything in itself, is complete, it experiences no time because it is everything at the same time. It is eternal. It is at peace with itself, anchored in the here and now. Our human existence and experience is conditioned by the loneliness of the All-One, which is everything, everything is it and which infinitely often divides itself into ever smaller parts of the whole, which contain the whole within themselves and which experience a subjective separation from their origin at the deepest level. This is experienced in this way because the layers become denser with each division downwards and the consciousness on these lower levels generally does not perceive the higher, thinner, more transparent layers (which allow more light to pass through). The higher layers are so thin that they wrap around others, below them, and so fine and permeable that they can move down through denser layers. Perception in the lower three dimensions (those in which we move) is so limited by its enormous thickness that we generally do not perceive this and all other levels above it (those that are closer to the origin of this very consciousness). As a result, we generally perceive ourselves as separate from our environment. Being determines consciousness, just as consciousness determines being. Consciousness determines being, just as being determines consciousness. Everything is and contains within itself this highest, uppermost layer of consciousness, because it is everything and everything is it. Nothing exists outside of what everything is and everything is united in what everything is, as well as in itself. We are Sisyphus on the lowest steps of the staircase and do not realize that it is not the stone on which we should focus our attention. ... . If loneliness, from which jealousy, grief and hatred arise (on the ever lower levels of consciousness), separates and divides the All-One, then it is love, true, unconditional love, the essence of love, that unites it. It is more a memory than anything else. A memory through the all-flowing consciousness, quivering through all layers of being. We who feel time have always been here, all-one, alone, we are deeply connected, through love, to the grandiosity that is the totality of the creation of being that we experience through our consciousness for a brief time on these lower spheres. I am and I love and I rest. The part that first split off, the beginning of creation so to speak, the first separation from the aloneness of the whole (yet still within the whole), is the beginning of being and it is infused with its consciousness from which we originate. Everything is energy. And the amount of energy is always the same, it can neither be created nor destroyed. Precisely because everything is one (the all-one) and if everything there is, is inside everything, then nothing can be added to it or taken away from it, because there is nothing apart from what everything is. If the individual originates from the whole and thus carries the whole within him, can the individual not, like the whole, shape the whole according to his ideas through his consciousness by shaping himself, the individual who is in the whole, according to his ideas? Love is a guiding star in dark times, but love for the self should always be love for the whole, because that is what constitutes the self and the self shapes the whole through love. It is an eternal circle. An eternal dance, through a uni-verse. And we have free will. And love. Christian Rohweder 6.7.2024

I think there's both. We all have our "higher selves" soul AND a (or more?) HGA entity made from Source Energy "God" to help us while we're incarnated on Earth. Why not?
