Brand NEW from Olight is their first red dot optic for pistols, called the osight. It's rechargeable, the battery lasts up to 70,000 hours, it has picatinny mount or works with RMR style cuts, and the 3MOA dot has a shake to wake feature. Pretty legit new product from Olight.

I'm not in the cool channels club, but I'd buy one for its large picture. SRO's are just expensive. This seems like a good option

Problem with built in batteries is that they eventually stop holding a charge. What do you do then?

Buy a new one. It’s only $150 bucks. Very few things are made to last a lifetime.

@@PrecisionRifleNetwork Sorry - this is the wrong answer. I don't expect everything to last a lifetime - but some things should last 10-15 years for sure - and a scope is one of them.

@@UnCoolDad I would agree if you put a bigger pricetag on that. Let's say...anything above $1000.00 should last 10-15 years. Not something that costs $150 bucks. That's simply not realistic in my opinion.

@@PrecisionRifleNetwork I have to agree with UnCoolDad. I've been wearing the same pair of underwear everyday for the past 20 years. If underwear can last 20 years, there's no reason why a $150 MRD can't last 10.

@@PrecisionRifleNetwork I'd rather pay more and get something that will last longer and be repairable. The last thing this world needs today are more disposable products. I see that they offer a "lifetime warranty" (USA only) for this product. All fine and well, but the faulty product still has to be disposed of.
