John had an excellent sounding room! He has his lane and its awesome. There were a lot of mid-fi rooms with big, boomy sound playing the hackneyed tracks we all know. I also really loved the AudioNote room, also equally awesome speakers! Way to go John great work...in my top 10 rooms, always great sound!

These look so classic. Def outta this world in terms of style. Another cool thing in terms of price to performance is when he finds the sweet spot he only changes if makes sense. First class.

Good evening. Can you tell me three or four amplifier options for the Devore fidelity 0/96 speakers? Greetings from GREECE! thanks!

What’s the MSRP of those speakers? The production versions not the limited 20s.

If you’re asking, you probably can’t afford them. 🤣

Price? How much will the O/Bronze cost? It's always nice to know when you are looking at something you can't or can not afford.

If you have to ask, you probably can’t afford anyway. 🤣

certainly can't accuse the man of following the crowd. to me the speaker looks like a high end store display for selling raw drivers . no problem for me, if it works, that's my overriding goal. I am always interested in the products from other manufacturers, that are selected to help sell the featured room's product.

Some objective measurements? This is 2024 with so much new tech in speakers.

That would be ironic for a high-fidelity product...

That big baffle plate ain't good for the sound ,lot of reflection i guess😢
@DBravo29er3 ай бұрын
It's actually VERY good for the sound. It gives baffle support to the woofer and aids in integration within the passband. BBC did lots of science on this, as did Newell & Holland.

@@DBravo29er was that research work done before or after supercomputer times was available ?
@DBravo29er3 ай бұрын
@@richardelliott8352 It's research that underpins literally every speaker in existence today. An extension of Thiele/Small, if you will. SO, I don't know and it doesn't matter. Toole did all of his research without a super computer.

yep, he's been building speakers for decades and selling to audiophiles but somehow doesn't understand baffles. "Good" call on that. JFC.....

@@tmdillon1969 I wonder if the guy has built one speaker in his life? But everyone is an expert now.
