Can only agree. Met and spent an evening (only) with Bernard in about 1981 after they'd just released 'Movement'. They we're doing a gig the 'Blue Note,' Derby. We mostly talked about instruments and direction of the Band. Next thing wad Blue Monday, pretty upbeat following the excellent Joy Devision. Excellent band. Helped me out musically on many occasions over the last 40 (ffc) years. Can't wait to see them on the 6th with my kinder!!

I Saw NO many times in Paris.in 82 at the Palace, a bit disappointed back to time because they didn’t play any JD songs.In 85 at Eldorado with their new public who came for Blue Monday. They ended the concert with Atmosphere. Sumner was not Ian Curtis but it was bloody emotional. Today they play many JD songs and that’s great for those who have been following them from the beginning.

Na verdade PETER HOOCK fundou as duas bandas Joy Division em 1976 , que teve duração até 1980, quando o vocalista da banda (Ian Curtis) suicidou-se em 18 de maio de 1980.Então PETER HOOCK fundou a banda conhecida até hoje como New Order , o Mesmo deixou a banda em 2007. A banda New Order faz shows ao vivo até Hoje.

too much camera movement

With everybody having a good camera in their phones you can create and capture any live performance.. Keeping focus and moving to the music is very difficult at times. When I saw new order back in 1984, I used a basic small camera. Took about 10 pictures in less than 3 minutes. Only captured 2 descents ones of the band. That's because of all the swaying around and dancing. Some venues do put up posters stating not to video this artist in performing. 📲📸📹🤷‍♂️

Please stay at home with your f*****g s******g Camera or iPhone or iPad!!! Go to a gig, drink some beer, dance 10 pogos, enjoy new friends and go at home ... dream the songs I hate you all with this f*****g iPhones on the gigs

I have seen new order live in Paris 2001. Much better with Hooky, on bass. The songs on music complete are really good, but Barney doesn't really like singing and playing at the time. I have always liked Bernard, voice on temptation. They are still going strong and gained younger audiences over the years. Barney, seems to be struggling with his voice and sounds awful on 'age of consent ' He can't really capture the same live performance with joy division songs that were sang by Ian Curtis ( RIP). It must of been a great gig at this venue, but the band have nothing to achieve. These days New Order's music is still important to us, but also embarrassing. 😪 tears in their eyes🍾
