Peter Hook should be considered one of the best bass players of all time

The way Barney is dancing away to himself during the intro shows he still loves a song he wrote around 25 years earlier. So do we Barney, so do we. It's a classic. Some days it's my favourite New Order song.

This is one of the most beautiful songs of all time - that melody is so simple but so aaah ❤️❤️

One day people will look back at this performance with Barney and Hook jamming together and recognise it for the classic that it is. We were spoiled by band like New Order. Made my childhood.

This song and this album will be 40years old this year. I was 26 when this song came out...I'm now 66 and I still love this song and all of their songs. One of my all time favourite bands.

I was 9 yrs old when i first heard N.O. My nbor girl had a "new wave" baby sitter. She listened to Smiths, Cure, Psy Furs, Cult. 3 decades later, hearing N.O. still makes me recall those days of the dances & styles of 80s alt surreal. Music so timeless causes me to choke up. The Substance cassette changed my life. Long live those who never wanted to fit in.

This is one of my all time favorite New Order songs. One of the clubs I used to frequent as a much younger human would often play this to close the night. It was perfect. Thanks for the memories.

Timeless and epic! One of the most underrated and really unknown bands. More people need to know New Order. Beautiful, smart, genius, balanced, creative, deep.

I am a HUGE fan of New Order, and this is the live performance I like most. I need to play it every few days...what a direct: A bit more speed and "happier tune"? than the original (great), Bernard´s voice sounds great and tuned, Peter´s bass as delicious as always, the drums, the keyboards and synths, the perfect mix of analogic and digital instruments...The whole package makes me melt. Sadly (that´s live), they are not able any more to achieve this excellence...maybe if Peter Hook came back to the band?
